I recently got an E6700 and an Asrock 4coredual-vsta mobo, however the system specs shown in cpu-z confuse me.
The stock speed of the E6700 is 2.66ghz, shows up in bios as 2.66ghz, but cpu-z (and system properties) show it as 2.56ghz.
The 'rated fsb' shows up as 1025mhz when i thought it would have been 1066.
The 4coredual-vsta should have the VIA PT880 Ultra chipset but shows up as having the PT880 Pro which I think are inferior (via overclocking to reach 1066).
Can anyone explain these unexpected results? Help would be greatly appreciated.
