That's obviously rather wasteful, but given that PC builds and desks have long since become identity markers and highly expressive (though within a very limited aesthetic) its almost a necessity these days. I turn on my rgb for a few minutes now and then to play around with it - maybe once a year? - but other than that it stays off.
