No B350 support. Also why no x370? But a320 OK?

AMD hates B350 users or what !

Except this isn't AMD making the decision. Biostar decided to not extend updates to their X370/B350 boards.

?!? Did I fall into the twilight zone? Or did I miss something??

You missed the new 4000 series SKUs that launched (and relaunched) a few days ago.

Almost all the biostar VRM layouts on 1st generation motherboards were garbage tier. I suspect they don't want people dropping 5800x, 5900x & 5950x's into those motherboards because they'd cause VRM overheating issues on many of their boards. Another reason may be they sold so little of those boards, because for everything but the Racing X370GT7 were arguably the worst x370 boards(and they were all ugly as sin), so they aren't even bothering because of lack of units out there in the first place.

The support for a320's is baffling though. I assume it's mostly for OEM's, to support the 4000 series CPU's.

I wonder how good the 4600G is vs 5600G, if i waited a couple of weeks on my ryzen machine, I may have been tempted by it instead of the 5600G, but I am guessing its a Zen2 core not Zen3.

From what I can find 5600G is about 20-32% faster, and 4600G loses half the lanes.

But still these chips are very cheap and great news for those with minimal money available.

Ah, ok. They included APU's in the context of "Desktop Processors".

Yes and no, the 4100 and 4500 are not APUs but are based on Renoir silicon

They don't loose half the lanes, but are indeed slower (zen2 vs zen3).

Yea, its actually obvious given the 5600G uses the 4600G i/o, so dont know why I didnt realise that, thanks for confirming its Zen2.
