Check power supply switch if it still doesnt work send it back and get your money back, dont waste anymore time on it, the seller knew it was broken

Otherwise you would have to repin it
I wasted enough time on it all ready.I will get a Hand-Held Tape Dispenser 50M X 50MM i will get em extra tape for it i will need it for that big PC.
It is handy to have one any way. :)
This. If the system isn't working, send it back
I am going to ,i am very disapointed that it does not work .Thats the way the cooke crumbles. :)It will be a big job packing it, and taken it to where they will collect it to deliver it back to the seller.

Even if i do that and it still does not work ,i will be Back to square one.Iwant be alble to test another PSU because the Dell PSU has more pin conections and the cpu fan is diffrtent,
interesting video i think it is the PSU. :(

No, now you have absolutely no idea what's wrong, do what i said and you can narrow it down to the PSU motherboard or RAM, it almost never is the CPU. Or you can even remove whatever is wrong with all the rest and it just works.

You are right there i don,t.I have not mentioned anything about the CPU.
What ever it is ,it would cost me to repair it
I paid for something that was working.
If i knew it was not working i would never have bought it.

A Sempron and a mid tier AGP card should be okay with a more modern PSU. Worth a try anyway!
There are two things i have not done papper clip in the Black and Green on the PSU and removing the Power switch cabal and touching the connection with a screw driver i would worry doing that, especialy puting a papper clip in the PSU. o_O
It is a good video. :)Heres another one on the same subject

No, whatever you do, don't poke inside the PSU, regardless of how good or bad it is! That's a fast way to an electric shock.

Again though, it looks very much like you were sold a dud and I wouldn't waste any more time on it.

Oh, definitely report it to the seller first, or you'll be on a hiding to nothing. And make sure that all communication is done through eBay messaging, for evidence. Hopefully he'll be reasonable and accept it back. He should pay the significant postage too, which will be interesting to see. Good luck with that.

I was going to do that anyway ,i all ways do it through eBay, It is not working so no problem i will get a refund,i had the same problem with a PC that had the same problem nothing working. There is one thing the* Power Led*and *GND*were not connected .People on here say they don,t need to be connected is that right? They were not connected when i got the PC.He will have to pay the postage as it is not working. Thanks again for all your help. :)Because I would tell the seller there was no loose connections in the case. And that the only things that were not connected were the *Power Led*and *GND*which were not connected when i received it from you.I understand they are not needed to be connected anyway.

@Greenslade It's true, the power led doesn't have to be connected for the PC to work. GND normally means ground, but the context isn't clear here. In the general context, the PC is grounded when the internal power connectors are plugged in and it's connected to the wall socket.

The irony is that he might be telling the truth. However, it's still the seller's problem until the buyer confirms it works.

It looks like he's gonna put up a fight, so I hope it works out for you and please keep us informed on here.

Off-topic, but is this true? What identifier would they use? AFAIK web servers don’t really have a way to prevent access beyond IP and geo-blocking, but maybe I’m missing something?

those zalman fan controllers can go bad, i had one that somehow altered the 12V rail from the PSU and caused a lot of issues.

And uh, is the PSU switched on?

Think the PSU is fine. Earlier in the thread he showed some photo's of the system powered on. I think the problem is that it's not booting up properly.
