Flickering monitor..

Hey all im having some trouble with my monitor flickering around the edges. Is it a monitor thing.. or is it my vid card giving out ? Maybe its the weather.. having some cold weather lately. This happens when im playing games or just on the web.. kinda anoying.. On my vid card everything seems to be normal.. same temp readings.. nothing new, also checked connections everything is fine. Just bought the monitor 6 months ago same as the vid card.... but i did pick up the store warranty on the vid card: Sorry for the shitty spelling.. im late for school.

i would say it is the Monitor becaus i had that hapen to mw on another Monitor but it was realy old like 15 or 16 years old

Hello, im Mindrestx's roommate, I ran some tests on his PC with my flat panel type monitor. Ive been playing some games on his pc for about 45min now and no flickering is visible. I really dont think its something with refreshrate or resolution since both my monitor and his were both at 1024x768 on the desktop. Monitor Giving out?

^ Sounds like it might be, see if you can test his computer on CRT though or test his monitor on your computer (Just to be sure)

Im on my laptop right now using his Monitor and it is having the same effect... So i guess Thats that... RIP Shitty monitor Heh hes gonna be pissed I think he just bought it too

if you want a good Monitor then i should suggest a envishion i had mine for almost a year now and no problems this is my Monitor http://www.envisiondisplay.com/products.asp?EPage=products&SMenu=eft720
it cost me about 210$ but it works great no problems yet

Hit It hard enough and it will work ( at least for me )
