EK Releases FPT 120 and FPT 140 High Static-Pressure Fans for Radiators and Heatsinks

Sooooooo many words, bells and whistles but no data about what matters most from a fan that emphasize low noise and high static pressure:
1- Noise output in dB
2- Pressure in mmH2O

So basic yet the press release neglect it.
The different new feature are nice to know but they can`t be the only thing and they can't save a bad preforming product.
Why hiding the numbers?

I'm in the market for 4*140mm high pressure fan with low noise but sadly this doesn't make my choice easier.
I was recently too when I upgraded my machine. Just get 4 Arctic P140 PWM fans and daisy chain them. It doesn't get better than that (I mean it might, but it will cost you 3 - 5x as much money).
Then you can control them off of one motherboard header and use whichever curve you like for all of them at the same time. It is pretty nice. I got 4 of mine off of ebaykleinanzeigen.de (Ebay alternative in Germany more widely used than regular ebay.de) for about 18 euros with shipping. 2 Were brand new unopened, the other 2 were also new but you could tell the box was opened and that they haven't been used.

At least it is january in 2023 and now i got two of the FTP120 (non RGB) to replace the stock fans of my Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240.

Don´t get me wrong, the LF II 240 is a (cooling-) beast even with stock fans. But the fans suffer from humming in low rpm frequenciec or specific speeds.

Now i replaced them with the FTP 120 from EKWB and i can say that this was a very good step to get that humming away. Now there is no noise from the LF II 240 anymore. The Temeperatures in games are 9 - 11 degrees C lower than with the stock fans attached. Good job EKWB!

I have them installed on an EK CR240 they come with. They tends to be noisy at full speed but then the performance is good I would say. I don't really appreciate their noise output and signature though, especially arround 900-1150rpms for me, some kind of oscillating resonating frequency there makes me start my fan curve directly at 1150 where the fan noise start to be more constant, discrete/appreciable. I'm really thinking of replacing them with some Noctua NF A12x25 for better static pressure and hopefully way better noise output. Not sure the Phanteks T30s fit my itx case.

Only review I found of them :
And a compararison with other 120mms where the EK get eliminated straight away because of its noise
