I dunno, ram is ram, the time to buy is when in need or when it's cheap!, at least it doesn't have lights so it shouldn't be to much off xD

Yep, the absence of circus puke is admirable for sure..and most folks I know that run TR systems will welcome this "feature"

Wikipedia:

Registered memory modules have a register between the DRAM modules and the system's memory controller. They place less electrical load on the memory controller and allow single systems to remain stable with more memory modules than they would have otherwise.

Do not confuse them with ECC ram!

64 GB DDR3 modules for $20. Too bad my biggest DDR3 machine doesn't take LRDIMMs (I think).
