The HR-03 GT measures 134.5(L) x 163(W) x 112(H) mm, weights 130 grams and is SLI compatible.

Yes it says on the page that it weighs only 130g but that is BS! :D Even Zalman VF900 is more. If you look how much the other HRs weight:

HR-03: Weight:350g (heatsink only)
HR-03 rev A: Weight:350g (heatsink only)
HR-03 Plus: Weight:410g (heatsink only)
HR-03/R600: Weight:410g (heatsink only)

So it's 410g as it has those extra pipes and that is too much when you put a fan (100g) there also. yes it's great performance, but I don't want a bent card.
I'd get the Thermaltake DuOrb instead of this: http://www.ngohq.com/images/articles/duorb/duorb1.jpg
it's 324g only and has all the heatsinks you need as well.

Yes, not much, but as VF900 already does better job than the stock cooler, that's even better. This one is a overkill, but of course if you do some voltmodding, the it'll be great or if you want a near silent cooler then again. VF900 is 25db on 12V and DuOrb should be 21db with those 2 fans, so the fans are not a problem.

It can't be bending cards that badly, oterwise everyone would complain.
The V-2 isn't as heavy as the HR-03, and yet it's still bending my graphics card.

'good case airflow' wont help since its paralell to this cooler, and not blowing directly at it.

suresly if theres cool air blowing through the fins (parallel to the card, from front of case to back) that would reduce the temp?

V2 is at least more narrow, so the weight is closer to the case screw. People use 1KG CPU coolers too and don't complain :) After I took the stock cooler of my x1900xt and put VF900 on I could clearly see the card hanging much less. It was something in the 300g+ weight area.

I don't even like stock Intel CPU cooler, it bends motherboard like crazy. Yet Intel still produces them and people use them in thousands. Funny thing about that is Intel gave Thermalright specs for this Ultima-90 on maxium mounting pressure and the pressure is much less than their stock cooler :p Propably doesn't do harm and most change their graphics card once a year anyways, so it's not like we get to see the side effects :)

But some cube case or a mediacenter one this wouldn't bother me at all, as it only pushes the card to the slot. GPU is just most expensive part in my computer, I like to try and keep good care of it.
