It was fun, but too short!
I started on Delta and found it surprisingly easier than I expected, but fun nonetheless. COD4 is way harder on the 2nd to hardest setting.

1680x1050 all settings high. I did have to turn off 4xAA though, ran @ 2xAA after the first few levels with totally playable frames.

Ok, I just completed Crysis, and i'm not very impressed.

Sure, it looks great and levels 5-11 are fantastic...

But the are several things that irritate the hell out of me about this game:
1. how come, on Easy, the koreans are more accurate than me at distance with THE SAME weapons??? It's impossible to be more accurate, they're right in my sights...
2. levels 1-3 were far too open ended for my tastes, often i thought "what am I doing here, where am I going?" - I like my games far more linear. Sure, some variances are good, but this is like taking Oblivion and adding guns - it's OTT.
3. it's buggy. When fighting the end boss, after shooting out it's 4 ...bits... you get the checkpoint before you've gotta shoot the thingy. Well i hit quicksave, and my dude fell through the floor into the hangar below. So I spent 15 minutes scouring this silly hangar below (there's no exits) whilst they're screaming "shoot the hatch!!!" at me, I had to look up in a guide where this crazy hatch was. Then i had to reload and kill it again to finally kill it! linearity works!!!
4. the ending was way too weak for such an "epic" game - well as epic as levels 5 onwards are. what happened to gorgeous action cutscenes, loud music and decent endings we've come to expect?
5. anyone get nuts lag spikes on the final boss? i had to drop the settings to Low on everything and still got lags down to 10fps :s

The levels inside the alien space ship pissed me off somewhat and the level after exiting the space ship during the snow. I found that level quite difficult and the frame rates were terrible. I also had problems with falling through the ships top floor on the last levels. I think the game is still too buggy but all in all I did enjoy it.;)

Agreed, I HATED that fucking ship, with no point of refrence it was impossible to navigate. The FPS was terrible in Paradise lost, I had to drop to medium just to keep it playable.

No worries here

I can't even play the demo at decent frame rates so I'm glad I didn't buy it. I bought Stalker instead and not sure if I like it yet. Far to many things to do. I'm used to run and shoot games I guess. How is Metal of Honors newest ? Wish I wasn't so broke so I could get a new machine. I just had an adjustable ARM loan go up on my house and it costs me almost $500 more a month. I'm sitting at a $2700 a month mortage. Shoot me Please

I loved the zero-g portion, but I'm an explorer at heart. I like to see all the different ways a problem can be approached and it's really cool to me that the game can be played in so many different ways.

And really one thing I noticed was that the zero-g area was pretty linear, though I'll readily grant that it was a challenge keeping oriented. The various offshoots either led to the same places or just looped back to the main areas.
