I'm afraid that all potential ATI HD 3870 X2 buyers will have to wait one more week until they get their hands on the new cards. TweakTown alerts that the launch of AMD's Radeon HD 3870 X2 graphics card has been pushed back to January 28th. AMD's new dual GPU graphics card was supposed to launch tomorrow but for unknown reasons, the launch has been pushed back. One possible version could be due to the fact that AMD is looking to have good stock quantity for this launch as it probably is a product that could do well for the struggling company.

Well aslong its no longer Im sure it wont be a problem. Looks like a very nice card indeed.
But i cant afford one and happy with my 2900Pro/XT.

Damn, I was all ready to stay up until midnight tonight and buy two. Oh well, this is really a good thing if it means better availability. Better availability will yield better prices.

Damn...who´s taking care of AMD/ATI ??? Surely is a Nvidia spy , triyng to send Co. to hell...all they plan , do , project is inaccurativelly condemned to fail...This is a boat drifting on a very dangerous sea.

Good! It looks like ATi is going to release some new drivers along with this card!

Card looks hot, but I don't think I will be moving too much further up the scale on video cards... Going to get a 512 3850 or 3870 here in a week or two hopefully... After that I'll wait again and see what turns.

What will be the power requirements for this card? Will my 600W do ok?

(Considering this for my next rig)

this is great...I thought they were going to release litte amount of them so more avalibilty makes me happy...and anyways it usually means better price too:toast:

I wonder if i could crossfire that with my 3870 and make tri-fire.... :P

I don't know the spec's for the card, but the pic's at the above review link show an 8 pin and 6 pin PCI-E connector on the board...
