SPARKLE Computer Co., the professional VGA card manufacturer and supplier, today unleashed Calibre P888+ Graphics Card with Innovative GDP2 Daughter Card. Using NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT graphics processing unit (GPU) , the Calibre P888+ Graphics Card is equipped with creative second generation GDP2 daughter card, providing accurate working condition surveillance for high-end gamers.

Based on NVIDIA's next generation GeForce 8800 GT architectures, the Calibre P888+ Graphics Card adopts innovative unified architecture, dynamically allocates processing power to geometry, vertex, physics, or pixel shading operations, delivering up to 2x the gaming performance of prior generation GPUs. Built upon technologies such as NVIDIA Lumenex Engine, providing support for DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0, NVIDIA Quantum Effects technology for physics computation and GigaThread Technology for extreme processing efficiency in advanced, next generation shader programs.

The Calibre P888+ Graphics Card is equipped with 65nm GeForce 8800 GT GPU, compared with NVIDIA reference GeForce 8800 GT graphic card, the Calibre P888+ Graphics Card possesses higher core speed at 675MHz and higher memory speed at 2000MHz. So combining with 1728MHz 112 stream processors which take care of shader special effects, the Calibre P888+ Graphics Card introduces lifelike character animation and rich, immersive gaming environments for today's DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 demanding 3D games, suck as BIOSHOCK, Crysis and so on. Ahead for next generation data transportation standard, the Calibre P888+ graphic card is one of the world's first PCI Express 2.0 graphic cards, which can maximize the usage of 5GT/s bandwidth (twice that of first generation PCI Express) provided by PCI Express 2.0, to be full ready for future games and applications which have strict requirements on bandwidth. At the same time, the Calibre P888+ Graphics Card is also compatible with with present PCI Express 1.1 motherboards with widest scope of support.

The Calibre P888+ Graphics Card uses NVIDIA newest developed PureVideo HD VP2 technology and has the new generation video-processing engine integrated, the Calibre P888+ Graphics Card also supports for HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), can fully take advantage of NVIDIA PureVideo HD VP2 technology to offload most of Blu-ray and HD DVD H.264 video decoding from CPU, freeing the CPU for other tasks and significantly reducing power consumption, heat and noise, providing the highest quality High-Definition video for the ultimate home theater experience.

With innovative mind in design, SPARKLE endows the Calibre P888+ Graphics Card with second generation of Graphics Display Port (GDP) daughter card- GDP2. With second generation of GDP, this daughter card use LCD with back light to show real-time GPU temperature, GPU working voltage, fan speed and Calibre Logo. User can manually switch the surveillance case with corresponding graphic logo to represent the case to avoid damage caused by GPU overheating or lower fan speed. Compared with SPARKLE's first generation GDP daughter card, GDP2 daughter card is added with the surveillances for GPU working voltage and fan speed, it's also added with smart surveillance functions. With a more beautiful LCD, user can be clear at a glance to know the working condition of the graphic card.

"The Calibre P888+ Graphics Card is SPARKLE 's latest masterpiece for high-end DX10 games. Its out of box overclocked speed endues powerful 3D rendering capability in latest DX10 games, such as Crysis, Gear of War, Company Of heroes etc, so high-end DX10 gamers can enjoy fluent DX10 gaming experience on this card."Said Connie Chen, sales manager of SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd. " "With customer's need in mind, SPARKLE evolves second generate of Graphics Display Port (GDP) daughter card. now users can surely enjoy the convenient surveillance brought by GDP2 daughter card."

I remember the 8800GTX version of this and it was pretty good but from some reviews I saw the cooler didnt really do much better than other non-reference coolers so I hope they perfected this one :toast:

all cards using the G92 GPU, such as the 8800GT and new 8800GTS are 65nm, so yes to your question.
