The production costs of those disc would also probably be out the roof... It just wouldn't be feasible for them to sell those. I recommend time capsule or any other e-HDD for backing up media.

So would I, but the studios and tape makers are all looking to end supporting all analog tape in
about 18 to 24 months. I work with the Hollywood studios (and a few adult studios:cool:) in my line of work, so I get a little inside scoop.

That's a shame they are discontinuing support.:shadedshu..Funny you should mention "adult" studios...Me and a few of friends of mine were discussing good and bad of todays tech...on the subject of movies and the shift from vhs to DVD, DVD is the way to go with regular films,:toast: BUT...we did note that while the quality is better in dvd porn, it lacks the "sleaze" factor that can only be experienced while watching on vhs.:laugh:

Vhs for me is like waching an mpg at fullscreen on a 30 inch monitor totally crud unless your miles away from the screen.
