The mainboard series utilizes AMD's latest 790GX/SB750 chipsets which provides full HD, best-in-class 3D graphics performance, enhanced scalability, and "Rock-Solid Stability" for mainstream gaming, multimedia and commercial PC systems.
MSI DKA790GX series mainboard based on AMD 790GX and SB750 chipset. This solution brings the new technology "Advanced Clock Calibration" for extreme user. In the BIOS or AMD Overdrive software of DKA790GX, user can enable ACC option to improve communication with Black Edtion Phenom CPU, removing a previous bottleneck and improving the maximum overclocking. DKA790GX series mainboard build-in with Radeon HD 3300 GPU core. The new integrated graphics processor (IGP) supports DirectX 10 and incorporates dual display, integrated DVI, HDMI, and VGA Port providing realistic and truly playable frame rates on some of the latest games titles. DKA790GX Platinum have quip additional 1Gbit DDR3 1333MHz IGP memory to accelerate onboard VGA 3D performance enhanced up to 15%. This design can meet all the multi-media needs.

DKA790GX Platinum has designed a flat circu-pipe solution with circle shape and bigger sink surface. The special design can enhance 20% of heat dissipation performance and faster than others. The flat design of heat-pipe also without mechanical issue. The processor power supply of DKA790GX series have 5 phases PWM design, it can support 140W CPU. Through MSI's power design, it allows power supply to become more stable, also reduces the heat produced, especially during huge overclocking.
Selected server-class DrMOS and solid capacitors!
The capacitors on these mainboards are high-quality solid capacitors that are made in Japan. These capacitors with low impedance and high ripple current and other characteristics provide better filtering effect.
