I'm not 100% sure about the memory, but the power is cooled on the 4870.

As for the 4850, it's not giving any reviewers problems, so maybe it doesn't need sinked.
I do not care so much about the memory cooling, i care more about the power phases; there are 6, 2 for memory and 4 for the VGPU. Moreover the dual bios is just... fucking bloody awesome.
