Persistent dreadful performance of TPU, EU am timezone

I've noticed that TPU is getting worse and worse during EU am timezone. It used to be that TPU was unreachable only for a few hours per month. But it is now getting more an more common. I'd say that it's as often as every other day.

TPU seems to be OK during US "open hours". But EU mornings, the site is a disaster. Is there a problem with the webhost provider?

I haven't really noticed anything lately, so I would guess the problems lies with you and your ISP.

Could be, but I doubt it.

No other website suffers, incl. US sites, UK sites, DE sites. Only the TPU site fails, esp. the forum (more scripting for posts and replys etc.)

I do notice in the arvos my times TPU seems to grind to a halt and the only thing i can do is get out and try to get back in later. Doesnt happen everyday but occasionally does.

Everything seems fine to me. Only problems I have ever had with TPU is that it goes offline for maintenance every month or so for a few hours. But that happens globally.

Im online sometimes 5:30 in the morning (GMT), sometimes very late at night, RARELY noticed a slight lag, or even had to restart the browser in order to reach the site. So... I didn't notice any issues, even at European rush hours

changed the cpu and disk priority of the backup script and excluded some extra folders. please report back if this improves speed tomorrow

Some of our servers even do 400 days marathon sessions (uptime). So such glitches are normal, they're fixed as soon as they're found.

not sure about the times, but i have noticed erratic performance. some times it goes down for a few minutes, other times it just runs really slow for 5-10 min.

Generally its not that bad, and i can tell its not for everyone as i still get email notifications from TPU during that time (so other people can post when i cant even access the site, instant notifications)

i just figured people were on at different times of the day
performance wise its been fine lately but occasionally it will hang or not be recognised
