Yes. Lower temp means it has to work harder, upping electricity usage. Also be aware, most A/C can handle about 20 degree F (or approx 6.6 deg C) difference in temp from outside to inside. Set it for more than that and the compressor will rarely turn off, if ever, hugely increasing electric bill.
