SPDTool: Read, Edit and Flash your Memory's SPD

Suggestion Hello W1zzard, I have a suggestion... Can you provide a version of SPDTool which allows you to insert the SMBus address to be scanned (if not automatically detected)? The SMBus address can be known using other programs, which makes it an expert feature. Thank you.

SPDTool: Read, Edit and Flash your Memory's SPD

Additional tip: Do not change unusual timings/settings in SPD. Changing the type/size of a DIMM may render it completely unusable. Only change tC, tRAS, tRC, tRP since these are the most important.

SPDTool: Read, Edit and Flash your Memory's SPD

Yes, you can boot with a corrupted SPD with working SPDs. But if your BIOS is set to Auto, you may not be able to boot the first time. In case of such a scenario, put working DIMMs in, set up BIOS manually, and then install the bad DIMMs back.

bios update error and now card not working

Yes, largon is right. It requires BIOS modding, someone else has got to tell u how, since I do not have ATI cards. But weird that those IDLE clocks are too high. my nvidia card idles at 169 for core and 100 for memory.

bios update error and now card not working

I will need u to open GPU-Z and this monitoring prog at the same time and show me what it says. GPU-Z on the "Graphics card" tab where you have Default clock and GPU clock. and then take a screen shot. Coz things are confusing me somehow. Thanks.

bios update error and now card not working

My experience says when the driver stops responding it means the Core is being HEAVILY overclocked. so you may try underclocking. 500 Core, 400 Mem. Try it. If that really wont work, must be something else. Maybe incorrect voltages.

bios update error and now card not working

Your card does not support shader clock adjustments. That's why.

bios update error and now card not working

Do you remember what were your Core/Mem/Shader clocks before you messed up the card the first time? Could be that you have much higher clocks in the newly flashed BIOS. Use an editor and lower the 3D performance clocks a little. Shader clock should be as double as Core clock speed. Then...
