    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Released: TU117, 896 Cores, 4 GB GDDR5, $150

The number 1 selling GPU on Amazon.com is the RX 580 8GB (Polaris) and even though Nvidia does take up positions 2 to 9. it goes with the data that has been floating around the web that AMD is dominating the DIY market. There is so much hype around Navi it's not even funny. All of the Youtubers...

    Best Vega 56 price

Well you get a 30 day from Newegg but I would not worry about a warranty. I have a Vega 64 version of this card. It was artifacting and giving me random shutdowns. I opened the card and there was more thermal paste in between the fins on the heat pipes than on the GPU itself. i applied some TP...

    Best Vega 56 price

Right now Newegg.ca has refurb Gigabyte Vega 56 AIB card on sale for $284.99. At that price it is cheaper than the RX 580 or 590 but way faster.

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Released: TU117, 896 Cores, 4 GB GDDR5, $150

This has the same amount of memory as the RX 570 4GB model so it has to be more than bandwidth.

List your most fun or favorite overclock

It was on and Asus Sabretooth 990FX. You may be right but I still enjoyed the heck out of it. BTW the CPU still works fine at 4.4 GHZ. I gave the PC to my nephew

List your most fun or favorite overclock

MIne has to be the FX 8320 that I had running at a stable 4.6 GHZ on all cores from a 3.5 GHZ base with Air cooling. I was new to OC at the time so I don't think I did anything other than adjust the multiplier.

    Black Holes

Theoretically speaking a black hole should behave in the same way as our sun in relation to objects being closer orbiting faster. The main difference being that instead of stable, the gravity well from the black hole would initially slow down the objects orbiting it by pulling them in until they...

Epic game store is epic at spying on you

Of all of these launchers Origin is the worst by far. I have About 8 Origin games and when I upgraded my computer they blocked me. Even though my credentials were the exact same. I tried to reach out to them and was treated like someone trying to steal an origin account. I haven't even looked at...

Are digital stores bad for launching games at full price?

I know but it will take Epic a while to catch up to Steam's inventory.

Are digital stores bad for launching games at full price?

DVD Recorders in the age of renting PC games killed PC gaming Steam is an after effect of that phenomenon. Unfortunately Steam has some of the best games on PC.

A chance to upgrade CPU and mobo, but is it worth it?

It makes common sense to upgrade from the Phenom to FX. As someone stated you don't have to change any other parts. Even the MB is a nice upgrade vs what you currently have

Are digital stores bad for launching games at full price?

Yes Devs need to get paid but in the current market all you get is a key to download the game data from whatever server it sits on. There is no longer the cost of the DVD, packaging or physical logistics. Let's take a AAA series like Battlefield. If 5 million users buy the game at launch for...

AMD Outsells Intel 2:1 on European Retailer Mindfactory.de

Hahahahahaha not with the young generation of PC builders learning of the flexibility of AMD vs Intel 5nm TSMC has already got it working as a node

Steam Hardware Survey Shows AMD's Continued Struggle to Gain Market Share

Yes AMD did not get DDR4 until AM4 you could make the same Intel argument for AM3 but we are not factoring that Intel has had DDR4 for at least 2 generations before AMD.

Steam Hardware Survey Shows AMD's Continued Struggle to Gain Market Share

I think it would be interesting to see what Epic store looks like vs Steam Hardware survey. Since Steam has been with us for so long (basically as long as Intel's domination) so it makes sense that Intel dominates the CPU section. The fact remains though that AMD are gaining market share. At the...

Are digital stores bad for launching games at full price?

If Green Man Gaming and Humble Store give you discounts on pre orders of AAA games why would you pay full price on a platform like Steam. I really only buy Total War and Just Cause games brand new. The only game that I am willing to pay full price for regardless of discounts is Cyberpunk 2077.

Steam Hardware Survey Shows AMD's Continued Struggle to Gain Market Share

That is interesting given the fact that you can't support that argument. Just because they had teething issues with AM4 RAM compatibility does not leave Intel looking good remember the launch of X299.

Steam Hardware Survey Shows AMD's Continued Struggle to Gain Market Share

Because it is new and Youtube has a greater impact on sales than many of us realize. I have AMD for one reason, cost. There is also the fact that you can upgrade your system with just a chip or CPU until 2020 across many platforms and threadripper is the same thing. With these node shrinks the...

Steam Hardware Survey Shows AMD's Continued Struggle to Gain Market Share

This is an interesting post considering the top 2 selling processors on Amazon.com are the R7 2700X and the R5 2600. This may be anecdotal but I have noticed that the majority of RAM reviews on Newegg are for Ryzen based systems. Steam is a good start but I go by what I see, There were no AMD...
