Intel to be Slapped with Greatest Fine in EU History

"the change in design means the old license doesn't apply, Intel believes" (bit-tech) That wasn't speculated in the cross-license... Intel made it up and frankly I don't give a flying f. how much money Intel put in QPI, so stop giving this argument... it makes you look lame. If it would have...

Intel to be Slapped with Greatest Fine in EU History

Keep it real, boy! :shadedshu No, it's not! It's a discriminatory action any day unless courts say so! Haha... first, they're not ideas, they're observations... second, you seem to have an issue keeping track of what the issue is. To put it plain, you can't talk about competition when Intel...

Intel to be Slapped with Greatest Fine in EU History

Shows how less you know about commerce. If 9 out of 10 companies buy a product at price and get a discount of 20% for not acquiring the competitor's product as well, and that remaining company gets 0% discount, just the batch price because it wants to serve its clients every option that there...

Intel to be Slapped with Greatest Fine in EU History

LOLz at all the people bashing EU... it's not only an EU issue... Intel has anti-trust law suites also in ASIA and as this article states USA's FTC is also involved. So cut the crap with the EU blaming and move along! We all know that if you won't play Intel's way, you'll pay. I know... it...

AMD Future Server Roadmap at a Glimpse

Correction... the PHII is just Opteron architecture. AMD's L3 cache enabled architecture was build from the start for the workstation/server market and adapted for the end-user market. I'm still awaiting new server chipset news from AMD... hopefully, soon.

EVGA Offers X58 Hydro Copper Waterblock for its X58 Motherboards

Cheap?... You know you're talking about an expensive mainboard... and not to mention, an over-expensive water block. Usually, EK chipset water blocks don't cost more than 50 eu. But the "fast" argument is good...

AMD SB850 Southbridge to Pack Gen. 3 SATA 6 Gbps Support

That's the thing, for people like you that want the most out of it, it will cost. And I think it's too soon to predict prices. Most likely the makers of USB 3.0 products will use the same logic. If you want it to be fast, pay up! So don't get your hopes to high to early or you might get...

OCZ Technology Announces Vertex EX 2.5-inch SLC-based Solid-State Drives

That's what most companies do with most of the new over-hyped technologies... good thing that there are still people who use common sense.

AMD SB850 Southbridge to Pack Gen. 3 SATA 6 Gbps Support

What I said, and what you understood... I never said it's "just for storage". I said it's universal... for general purpose and I think I listed the most common devices it's used for. Blame the flash chips and controllers for that, not USB. I doubt any of your flash drives can writhe with 40...

AMD SB850 Southbridge to Pack Gen. 3 SATA 6 Gbps Support

I wouldn't have used the word many... maybe to you and a few other people, but for most of us, it's good enough. The reason for that is that very few people are crazy enough to use flash for high amounts of data storage... which introduces your problem with time. The majority of people use 1-2...

AMD SB850 Southbridge to Pack Gen. 3 SATA 6 Gbps Support

My bad then...however, that's what it was said a year and a half ago... guess they made up their minds now. True, but I was pointing it out for speed... not general purpose. We already have 2.0 for that, there's no need for another high speed interface... well if we would have more SATA /...

AMD SB850 Southbridge to Pack Gen. 3 SATA 6 Gbps Support

Managing between intensive an non-intensive usage devices is left for your brain to decide. Thanks from the good luck thing, but I don't call using common sense, luck.

AMD SB850 Southbridge to Pack Gen. 3 SATA 6 Gbps Support

USB 3 is optical... it's won't benefit you on current USB devices and probably it won't on future devices also... for some time. And why should I want more speed for extra cash when I have eSATA? USB is just that. Besides, more USB ports isn't that useful. The USB standard says on USB root hub...
