i dont know, But if the voltage did raise you would see a good overclock, this is based on when you hardmod one of these you can get very nice...

I can get 1150 @ 1.080v.... vdroop down to 1.064v
gThey fly when hardmodded.
I suspect that guys unlock did nothing but mafe it seem it uped the volts.
If it did he would hit 1.25gz easy....

They have DP as well and a 3 year warranty.
Plus you can DSR it with 14 days if it has...

before the TOP bios i could hit 1100Mhz on core MAX @ 1.030v
With Top bios i could hit 1150Mhz on core...
the VRMs on the Direct CU 2 are not Weak, They are very good, this card was made for LN2 hence the whole voltage tweak with a Maximus motherboard....
I love the look of clear tubing, Such a shame it wont stay clear tho :/

I will think you may find that they actually were not, When i did this it "said" my core voltages were changing on GPU tweak, but i couldn't get...

It depends on what Bios you flashed the card on
Bios Number 1 Is for Dual link DVI and only 2 DP ports
Bios Number 2 is for Single Link DVI and...

Ok so i got up today, turned on my pc to get on with some work and GPU Tweak is showing voltage of 1.175 - 1.170 bounceing between the two...

Unfortunatly the directcu2 cards are voltage locked ;(
Come to the conclusion i need the maximus v mobo to hotwire my card
My cards voltage is 1.084v idle... Ref cards are 1.175.
I can do 1150mhz at moment.
1.060v load... That around 0.1v less than ref cards!!!
I'm sorry but you do know that the Asus DirectCu2 has the BEST vrms on any 7970 card dont you?
can i see the Monitor that shows your voltage at a higher level?
I havent touched the Bios Switch, I flashed it from in windows, there is no need...
i can get 1125/6300 fine @ 1.066v (vdrop in effect)
