Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Launch Trailer, Screenshots Drop

I'll get back to that someday, once I've played through the game. In the meantime I'm gonna congratulate you on being the first addition to my ignore list.

Wait, did you just drop a spoiler while criticizing others for doing the same?!

Red Dead Redemption 2 to be Epic Games Store Exclusive for a Month

That's like paying for a plane ticket only to have the plane break down before takeoff and then be crammed in a slow sweaty bus to get there instead. And then have your luggage damaged or lost. I feel the pain... Just curious - were the discs imbalanced or what? A man of fine taste, I see...

Red Dead Redemption 2 to be Epic Games Store Exclusive for a Month

While you guys are arguing about which digital store is better (or less worse) I'm here waiting for the "additional details" in two days to find out if there really is no disc version planned. Because, you know, I'm a dinosaur.

How does one know when and why their post got removed? (features suggested)

Beats me. Probably not. That would defeat the purpose, I already said I won't demand that it gets restored. ~~~ A few moments ago I went through the forum guidelines and came across this: My best guess now is that what got me was the lack of "relevant topical comment".

How does one know when and why their post got removed? (features suggested)

This is not one of those "boo-hoo-I-got-my-precious-post-removed" posts. Hear me out. Earlier today I made a post on a news thread. Hours later I was browsing the thread when I suddenly noticed that my post was missing. I found it strange as my post wasn't flagged as "low quality", had 10 (or...

nvme storage + airport X ray?

Don't worry about your drives, man. I have years of experience in the field. Some of my colleagues use laptops (some of them equipped with SSDs) that go through the X-ray machines daily (some even multiple times a day) and those laptops are running just fine. Some of those have seen the inside...

BIOSTAR Launches the New Mini-ITX X470NH Motherboard

I'm not ashamed to say that if the price is right I wouldn't mind using one of these for some tiny HTPC/gaming APU build. :)

Control Can Use Up to 18.5GB of Video Memory

Are you guys doing an in-house performance testing article for this one? I've been curious about that for the last few days. @W1zzard ? :)

Hey remember when basic proofreading was something people did on the internet?

This thread's title needs a comma after "Hey" and a capitalized "internet", methinks. I personally don't see why anyone wouldn't. But I will make my own "silly" thread about that, as I've been thinking about it for a while. Is it sad that some posts are poorly written or that there are...

GTX 1080 to lower GTX 10XX (rename my GPU)

For some reason when I read the thread's title I pictured a 1080 being turned into a 2080 sans RTX and ending up for sale, dunno why... :D

Japanese DIY Market Goes Big on Ryzen: 68.6% Market Share for AMD

So it would only seem logical to conclude that Ryzen is, erm, "big in Japan", eh? I'll see myself out now

Silicon Lottery Starts Selling Binned 3rd Generation AMD Ryzen CPUs

    Sooooo, lemme see: 4.2 -> 4.3 GHz = 2.3% frequency increase $370 -> $610 = 64.8% price increase That's $2.40 per MHz. 4.0 -> 4.2 GHz = 5% frequency increase $470 -> $810 = 72.3% price increase That's $1.70 per MHz. What a bargain! I guess your e-penis can never be big enough... :rolleyes:

SHERPA Consortium: If AI Could Feel, it Would Fear Cyber-attacks from People

Uninstalling Elder Scrolls Online - The Bethesda Way

I'm just curious, how many gigs of game data total left behind? Seems like a lot. Also what percentage of the original game folder size? Same! Might be habit, paranoia, OCD - you name it, but I do that, too. Ho-lee monsterflipping schnitzels, my good fellow! I literally can't even...

RTX features on Windows 7 x64

I generally agree, but it's not technically impossible - World Of Warcraft already uses DX12 on Windows 7. Much in the same way a developer could patch their game and implement DX12 features as a foundation and DXR effects on top of that. Then again, even if that works, I don't know if the...

Intel Challenges AMD to Beat it in "Real World Gaming"

Is... is this the same Intel that paid certain reviewers to disable half the cores on the AMD CPU so their CPU could look better? This Intel? Talking about real-world comparisons? Stay classy, Intel!

Is it possible to run hacks and cheats on hardware level on gaming consoles (xbox and PS4)?

This video was definitely one of the things I wanted to check out, thanks! Oh, I'm sure there's info and I get the basic principle, I just wanted to have the links to exact same resources in order to avoid losing precious time in searching and hoping for the best :)

Is it possible to run hacks and cheats on hardware level on gaming consoles (xbox and PS4)?

No, I believe it was something about a webcam looking at a monitor (displaying a video game), a PC crunching the video feed, analyzing it, then altering human input in order to act as aimbot/assist. Or may it be that I have misunderstood something?

Is it possible to run hacks and cheats on hardware level on gaming consoles (xbox and PS4)?

No, you're still sane. The purge is real. I complained about the same thing in the post above, guess you missed it.

Is it possible to run hacks and cheats on hardware level on gaming consoles (xbox and PS4)?

Well, that's a shame... I left this thread sitting in a tab for later, but when I came back to it today there's almost nothing left. I specifically remember one long post about webcams, tensor cores, aimbots - there was a link to some article, it looked really interesting. If somebody has the...

Is there any way to compress 10GB of anything to 1MB with WinRAR?

I can confirm. Story time: a few years ago our office PC was running laggy, so I poked around and found out the cause - turns out the access control software was constantly writing new data to some obscure log file that had grown to 1,56GB, if memory serves me right. Deleting the log fixed the...
