What is up about my USB 3.0 speeds

Both front ports are USB 3.0. Like I said I can get the same speeds in the OP on one of the ports. However, I can't write anything to the drive if it's connected to the other port. The speeds are normal. Guess I should rename the thread?

What is up about my USB 3.0 speeds

WD Passport 1TB drive. I edited this out of the OP: I get poor USB 3.0 write speeds on one of the front ports, there are two at the front. I tried the other one and speeds are similar to the pic in the OP. I can't write anything to the other port. Device manager - USB devices.

What is up about my USB 3.0 speeds

I've edited the OP, the case is a Corsair Carbide 400R which does have USB 3.0 ports. The front panel ports are driven by the Intel chipset, mobo is a P8Z77-V from Asus. I deduced that the one of the ports is faulty because I can't write anything to the drive, the other USB 3.0 port on the...

What is up about my USB 3.0 speeds

I can get the following write speeds if I hook up my USB 3.0 external drive to one of the ports at the rear. EDIT: It appears, only one of the ports is exhibiting this. The right USB 3.0 port is fine. So I guess it is fried? Case is a Carbide 400R. Is this is a driver issue? I'm on Windows 8...

NVIDIA Working on Faster GeForce GTX 650 Ti

In Malaysia, we pay $500 for a GTX 670 from ASUS. But for some reason, prices for Gigabyte and ASUS cards are inflated and yet cards from Sapphire are seem to be priced better.

    Genius Announces X-G510 Gaming Mouse

Looks like quite bargain for its price. Limited to 2000 DPI but I mainly game on 1600 DPI so I wouldn't mind using it.

AMD and Crystal Dynamics Collaboration Delivers "Tomb Raider" with TressFX

Well that's because he's using a NVIDIA card. ;) It should run better on AMD cards as this feature is clearly promoted and developed with and by AMD in mind.

AMD Redoing Radeon HD 7990 Under New Codename - "Malta"

    Malta isn't a southern island. :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malta They should've named it Tasmania.

I think I'm not risking it. I have zero GPU flashing history. ;)

    Can I flash this card?

I'm already running it at 7970 clock speeds and memory clock. I can get up to 80FPS in Battlefield 3 on Ultra already. So um, it's not a worthwhile update if I flash the Bios?

    Can I flash this card?

I own this Sapphire HD 7950. Link. It's pretty much the reference HD 7950 but with a custom heatsink shroud. Will I be able to flash it to the 7950 BIOS with Boost?
