Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed Five Months to September 2020

Witcher 3 was also delayed. I do not think anyone can disagree that it was a good thing. "When it is done", remember those words.

Windows 7 ESU Customers to Continue Getting Security Updates

Veiled attack? AFAIK, again, this forum does not support piracy. If that has changed, I am sure mods will point that out to me. Talking about sidestepping Microsoft is piracy support, using obviously non-legit keys also is. What is so hard to understand about that? Maybe open that same link...

    Microsoft's Windows 7 Reaches End-Of-Life

I mean 10 years ago W7 came out, I meant that OS :) Vista's problem was partly to be blamed on the manufacturers with their "Vista Ready" 512 MB crap, while it actually run OK on 2 GB machines. When SP2 came out then Vista was totally fine, imho. Damage was done, however.

    Microsoft's Windows 7 Reaches End-Of-Life

Yep. This all gets quite ridiculous because all the previous arguments back then were exactly the same as they are now. People just pretend that 10 years ago it was somehow different - it was not, "XP is the best, I will never change, damn M$, yada yada yada".

Windows 7 ESU Customers to Continue Getting Security Updates

He should let go what, exactly? That you are basically promoting piracy and that Microsoft actually does audits and do punish companies which do not fix found issues? No, Windows Server 2019 Standard DOES NOT cost 30 bucks. I truly wonder what fantastic number you called where you were told that.

    Microsoft's Windows 7 Reaches End-Of-Life

Oh people, when will you ever stop using the crap like M$ or WinSpy 10? It got old long time ago. And seriously, which games don't work OK on W10 and why you keep blaming MS for everything in that regard?

Windows 7 ESU Customers to Continue Getting Security Updates

That is not how the law works, but keep thinking that and keep supporting piracy, which, AFAIK, is not allowed on this forum. And companies, in this case Microsft, get the most out of enterprises, where someone like Accenture alone has almost half a million workers.

Windows 7 ESU Customers to Continue Getting Security Updates

Windows 10 for 17 EUR? Windows Server for 23 EUR!!?? Do you really think that any of those keys have been obtained legally? And not activating is the same as using pirated software. It is not legal (of course, chance that someone will check your home is almost zero).

Windows 7 ESU Customers to Continue Getting Security Updates

I love all those people with LTSC. I guess you all surely have your own private companies with enterprise agreements

Windows 7 ESU Customers to Continue Getting Security Updates

This. I do not understand why this is news worthy at all. Of course the program meant to continue updates for those who want to pay for them will mean they will receive those updates. Like, common sense?!

Windows 7 users will begin to see a interactive full-screen warning that their OS is no longer supported

Queue the outrage. xD I fully expect another zero day after 14. january and only a matter of time before some of it is exploited by another WannaCry.

HP Enterprise SSD Firmware Bug Causes them to Fail at 32,768 Hours of Use, Fix Released

HPE literally does not manufacture SSD's. They are using rebranded ones - Samsung, Intel, I think Micron too. IIRC they got punished for that, no? P.S. HP and HPE split 4 years ago, just a reminder.

HP Enterprise SSD Firmware Bug Causes them to Fail at 32,768 Hours of Use, Fix Released

We are talking about enterprise drives here, Mr. Conspiracy. HPE are not that retarded to fuck with their primary clients, some of which are bigger than them. It is not like there are bunch of other storage manufacturers who would be more than happy to take HPE's share in that case.

HP Enterprise SSD Firmware Bug Causes them to Fail at 32,768 Hours of Use, Fix Released

This is SSD manufacturer's fault, most likely. While HPE does use custom firmwares, I really doubt they write them from scratch for, say, Samsung drives. It is possible that Dell and others also may come forward soon.

HP Rejects Acquisition Offer from Xerox

Man, are you sure you got that right? Because Xerox is most definitely not the larger of both. P.S. HP also makes more than just PC's.

HP Rejects Acquisition Offer from Xerox

Wanna tell us why you think so? HP is number 1 PC manufacturer, a giant compared to Xerox (which is not small, to be fair).

Microsoft Releases Windows 10 November 2019 Update (1909)

I suppose that is the perk of actually having it on your PC as part of the last monthly update, then just enabling features. Interesting approach, but internet seems to like it for some straaange reason :P

It took me around 1 minute to install it, plus reboot. Nice, very nice.

Xerox Corporation Tries To Acquire HP Inc.

I have around 600 or so EliteBooks, from 8470p to 840 G6, with some 1030 series mixed in. I truly haven't seen any real issues with them, except, I think batteries tend to die around 3-4 years for the G1/G2. Desktops are also unkillable, old stuff like 8200s still running good with SSD's. All...

Actually I mean stuff like EliteBook's and ZBook's versus Pavilions. But yeah, love me some Gen10 servers...

Xerox Corporation Tries To Acquire HP Inc.

Honestly, seems strange. HP is the biggest PC manufacturer in the world, Xerox has nothing on them. Debt is a relative thing for these companies. As usual, it is time to remind that HP business and consumer computers are two very different things. Unfortunetaly.

Seagate's Roadmap Calls for 18 TB, 20 TB Drives in 2020, 50 TB by 2026

No, not even close. RAID 10 systems cannot do that. Maybe some, vs single drive. Maybe. But single disks cannot even push SATA 3 to the limit.
