Very nicely done. However, I do worry about the 126250 volts you are applying to the cpu.
Are any of the houses still standing?
I probably don't count (look at my stars). I do spend about an hour a day reading as much as possible and trying to learn everything. Occasionally...
That's called "Full Duplex"
It was my brother that invented the wheel, I invented the axle:laugh:
All right you can clock me in at (I hate to say it) six zero. Before the jokes begin, yes I was the first person to overclock an abacus. :o
Who is the oldest OverClocker here?
I agree 100%. I don't even have the money to push my system to the limit. If by chance I blow my system trying I'll have nothing.
I always run OCCT with linpack on my systems, I personally feel if they pass then I have a stable O)C. Plus I know how high my temps will get...
I just installed FEAR 2. How can I get the game to fill my entire screen and get rid of the black stripe at the top and bottom of the screen?
You lucked out, I was sent an E-mail yesterday saying my delivery was pushed out to April 24th :(
I always run OCCT with linpack for 1 hour. It is amazing how hot the cpu can get, but at least you know it is stable.
I have speedstep engaged. My actual is 3.2GHz.
DUH - I really am an idiot
It works fine now THANKS
I must be a total idiot but after I download wprime, unzip it and then try an run it I get
"unexpected error: quiting" What am I doing...
I agree 100% you are only asking for a really short life of higher voltages.
Very nice overclock. What are your temperatures at full load running at? And what are your temps at idle? Is it Prime 95 stable?
That's what I just did.
Thanks for the coupon. I just placed my order. :)
I am probably blind but I can't find the NB temp in either HWMONITOR or CoreTemp32. I also have SpeedFan 4.37 and I can't see anything...
Very nice, I hope to be able to hit that and still be Prime 95 stable. What does you temp look like during stressing?
This is my first oc so I am taking things one step at a time. I will wait until the weekend to try an go further.:D
I just got my Q9450 running at 3.3 GHz at 1.248 on CPU-Z. Prime 95 stable
X TeNDer thanks. I should have checked on patches. Works fine now. :o
Thank you very much. That explains it all.:)
