Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 XT Nitro+

Based on these pricing, I can predict the 6900XT would be well over $1000. AMD's reference card priced at $999, good luck finding one at $999. Most of those AIB 6900XT gonna be near 3090FE price for sure.

Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 XT Nitro+

Same as 3090FE, but nobody can find them at MSRP nowadays

Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 XT Nitro+

I feel personally insulted lol Yeah FuryX was a POS GPU that is the step middle child neither RTG nor AMD cared for. It was rather Fine Vinegar as it performed pretty horrible versus 980Ti in new titles.

Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 XT Nitro+

$770 ehhh no. At this premium price I would want all the features, like playable RTX. $649~$699 it is fine. At this price might as well just get 3080

RX 6800/XT backplate, if you add thermal pads lowers temps a couple celsius - but at what thickness thermal pad?

Yeah even pressure is important. The 2080Ti i gave away was mounted with Alphacool AIO. Even they recommended using default backplate with the thermal pads intact

RX 6800/XT backplate, if you add thermal pads lowers temps a couple celsius - but at what thickness thermal pad?

@lynx29 i would stick with the pad. You worry too much about others opinion. You made a good decision just stick with it. When I took my 2080Ti apart the metal backplate had loads of thermal pads for the components. It should help. Congrats on the card. Now go enjoy your awesome new rig!!

MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Suprim X

Presenting Ray Tracing data in this way might be easier for people to follow. Takes tsv or csv as input, just a simple R script.

    [Official] Oculus Quest 2

Review from LTT TBH, At this point I feel a wireless solution is a MUST HAVE for any gen 1 VR HMD adopters. Wire really breaks people out of the immersion. Immersion is the ultimate and ONLY goal. All the resolution, high refresh rate, SDE and etc all contribute to overall immersion. Among...

    AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

It is the new norm. I remember back in the day during ATI HD3870 days, the MSRP only lasted like a few days. Then on newegg every single 3870 went up in price big time

    AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

R7 fetch some good money among miners. Use that to offset some of the 6800XT scalping price.

Intel Sells Its Power Management Chip Business, Enpirion, to Mediatek for $85 Million

I am looking forward to see Intel's taking back that CPU performance crown. If their next design is as amazing as the Pentium4 to Core2Duo improvement, it would shake up the industry once more.

    AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

On a different note, The RX6000 series means the end for a lot of AMD supporters' "wait for XXXXX" meme. As far as DX12 Ultimate is concerned, these RX6000 might actually age pretty well like FineWine (As long as you keep that ray tracing off) If ATI can keep this type of performance boosting...

    AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

Amazing improvement of old rasterization rendering. Lags behind in hybrid ray tracing (DXR) Good thermal / OK~ish pricing / Healthy OC headroom No DLSS equivalent, mediocre encoder. That is the ATi I know of. Decoupling compute design and gaming design has finally paid off. Welcome back to...
