Compared to the X299 OC Formula on Skylake X the DARK does way better on memory overclocking especially on the latest XOC BIOS.

3600 CL19 is probably viable on 4Gb and 8Gb AFR maybe even some Micron ICs. I wouldn't buy these with hopes of B-die.

Check if the card has all it's voltages working. If it doesn't then it's just a matter of fixing a faulty VRM. If the voltages are present but the card doesn't work then there's probably something wrong with the die and any of those issues are generally not repairable(at least not permanently).

the main issue is that conductonaut solidfies if it gets too cold. Though I'm pretty sure you'd have to be bellow 0C for that. If your idle and load temps are good then it's probably fine.

The V56 BIOS has a lower HBM voltage than the V64 BIOS. The V64 BIOS will give you a higher max HBM OC.

2 DIMM is better than 4 DIMM for overclocking.

I just shoved 32A down the 3 12V 18AWG lines of a PCIe connector and they maxed out at 50C on the cables and 55C on the PSU connector. A 2 16AWG 8pins should have no issue with 70A peak loads.

EVGA is charging 250USD for 1 of these. The production volume is non issue. And it is literally impossible to make these less of a pain to use because they are designed to replace the VRM that a GPU already has. Bsaically these are designed to be attached to GPUs with terrible VRMs of their own...
