There is something wrong with the card, it is a class 4 16 gb san disk , now from the past few weeks my phone started random rebooting, then i caught the culprit it was the sd card, i had mad an partition on the sd card and some system files were there...so problem solved, now I cant even format...

just try the solutions present in the thread, if they don't work you have to reinstall the OS

I just deleted nvidia folders in program files and x86 and I do have a registry backup.. EDIT: Restored the backup trying to install again EDIT; I also delted temp and prefetch and app data nvidia folder Win8_WinVista_Win7_64 and there is only one pciex16 slot

I downloaded the driver from nvidia's site when the old one was installed, when I tried t install it, it firstly uninstalled the driver and restarted then when it tried to install, it failed..
