CX600 are known to have problems - cheap faulty caps. As above - TRY ANOTHER PSU.

I'd have a go at cleaning the slot out first. Fluid eg IsoPropyl/Rubbing alcohol is OK. Just blow it out with air and let it dry out before trying it. Put a ram stick in and out several times too.

Gaming at 4K with a 1060 wouldn't be recommended. Even a 980Ti would struggle. So monitor resolution, GPU and whether gaming and what games and settings all make a difference - they are relevant. The 980Ti would be a better choice over the 1060 eg...

I don't think there's a manufacturing fault with the motherboard. Just a dumb design idea to have the logo too near pcie slot 1. Running at 1.1 at idle is normal - so do my cards. So I don't think you have a problem at all.

So looks like your choice is x16 or led ROG logo with x8.
