Got a vanilla Palit GTX1060 6GB here. It replaced a GTX470 1280MB that started to flake out. Had a GTX970 for a short time back in hmmm... ...whenever they were released... but got rid of it as I had no use for it. And I was not impressed by it - for a number of reasons.

Favorite GPU? G92. Owned a few of this type of chippery. One 8800GT 512MB I vmodded 'n' OC'ed until it was dead. Burned (!) the VRMs while torturing the poor thing. Thus came in a 8800GTS 512MB which ended up being strapped with vGPU, vMEM and OCP. Shader core reached blistering >2.4GHz until...

SSD reliablity? Excellent. In my experience. I've been using SSDs for over 8 years now and both of 'em still work. First an OCZ (now retired [60GB]) and a Samsung. For what it's worth.

Ack! The fannage is annoying my ears - at idle! I'm so pampered by ten years of watercooled silenced computing... Luckily, the mounting hole dimensions are the same as on my retired GTX 470s so muffling the bugger is only matter of poking it silly with a screw driver.
