Visual Basic : Build a SIMPLE calculator

Correct. but it seems it picks up the numbers only if the string starts with a number. If the string is like test123 then val() returns 0 If the string is 123test231 then val() returns only 123.

Some Really Cool And Must Have Amarok Scripts

I had posted this recently on my blog, so I thought I'll post this here too Amarok is probably amongst the best audio player and jukebox software, bar none. This feature rich software is also very flexible and extensible. By making use of third party scripts (and writing your own, if you...

Ubuntu ISO check error in Virtual PC

@wolf Sorry as of now, Virtualization software can only virtualize a basic system, ie, with No 3D acceleration and all, as virtualizing 3D acceleration is not a small feat. Since 3D acceleration is not enabled, you won't be able to use Desktop Effects.

Ubuntu ISO check error in Virtual PC

Also, are you using MS Virtual PC? I'd recommend using VirtualBox. Do a MD5 check of the downloaded iso and compare it with the one mentioned on the site. If the MD5 match then the download is fine.

I have several versions of Linux at my disposal.

@tarun Yup, you do need the Nvidia drivers, as the opensource nv drivers do not have support for 3D acceleration, as compared to Intel IGP drivers built into the kernel @DIBL Heard a lot of good reviews about Sidux, havent personally tried it though

Ummm I dunno how got that notion  Compiz Fusion(Beryl no longer exists, Compiz + beryl = Compiz Fusion) works fine on KDE on 10.3. If you have a nvidia card(which seems likely) you don't need XGL(XGL is depreciated in favour of AIGLX) , and even AIGLX is not required, nVidia's blobs...

I’m a music buff.Music surrounds me all time time, whether its listening to it from my laptop or from my P1i. My music collection though isn’t as large as some other people’s, regardless I’d like to keep it organized. While re-organizing my music files, I realized that a huge chunk of my files...
