    6900xt or RTX 3080

So far, the Adrenalin driver for my RX 6900 XT has been pretty good, was even good during the time I was using the RX 6800 from later part of November to the whole of December before I upped the card to the RX 6900 XT on 2nd January. Only issue I'd seen then was Metro Exodus CTD with RT enabled...

    New Spigen Tough Armor Case

LOL!:D I actually didn't know what you were talking about, had to google 'spriggans', hadn't played Elder Scrolls for a long while, plus I didn't get that far into the game.

    New Spigen Tough Armor Case

Spigen is my go to case brand for my phones, I had a Spigen case for the P30 Pro which I had sold away. I have a Slim Armor Pro for my Z Fold 2, it's the best case for the Fold 2 imo. Pretty sure I have a Spigen case for my spare phone, a Note 10+ but not using it now as I'm happy with the...

    What's the primary resolution/refresh rate you're gaming at (2021)?

For me, I have two monitors hooked up to separate rigs: Main Rig - 3840x1080 144Hz (Freesync 2) 2nd rig - 3440x1440 75 (Freesync)

The RX 6000 series Owners' Club

Wow, 78C is pretty awesome, my Nitro+ RX 6900 XT Junction Temp hangs around 83-85C, and the GPU temp itself is around mid 70, so their temp delta between them is about 20C. To all those guys who've recently gotten their RX 6000 cards....WELCOME!!! :rockout: :toast:

Spire Announces Eagleforce 80 Plus Certified Power Supplies

Isn't 80+ (without Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc) rating just.......meh? Looks pretty generic, and for about 60USD (for the base 500W unit I suspect) strikes me as a tad expensive for a PSU with such lackluster specs. That part about supporting the latest Intel and AMD Dual and Quad core CPU's had...

The RX 6000 series Owners' Club

@turbogear , Oh man, that's so messed up! Hope you get the replacement card asap. The warranty sticker thing does apply to me in my neck of the woods, temper with the stickers and you void the warranty. That's one of the reasons why I'd gotten a Nitro+ RX 6800, which was replaced by the Nitro+...

AMD Outs Radeon RX 6800 XT Midnight Black Edition—Already Out of Stock

Holy crap, prices are just plain nuts!!!:twitch::eek: I can't believe I'd landed a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT for the equivalent of about 5090zt (or about 1113EUR) back in 2nd Jan.

Is it the time for 32GB Ram?

My main rig is purely for gaming, so 16GB is enough for what I need it to do presently. I had gotten 4x 8GB DDR4 3200CL16 RAM back when I was planning to build my rig in late 2019, though I'm using a pair of 8GB 3600CL17 RAM now. I have 32GB at the ready line, but don't feel the need to use it...

    1080 TI and blessed!!

Although I have an RX 6900 XT in my main system, I do have a PowerColor VEGA64 Red Devil in my 2nd rig (doing 3440x1440 75Hz) and a Leadtek GTX 1080 in my HTPC (surprisingly, it can handle games at 4K, but at realistic ingame settings....like Med-High, forget about 'Highest' or 'Max'). I'd...

Bad performance on pretty decent pc.

I watched that video, and man, the guy was spot on! Userbenchmark is often used by peeps who don't know any better, we can only speculate as to why they'd changed the weightage of their performance metrics, though I do have my suspicions. Word of their obvious bias/prejudice should be spread...

Creative Announces Sound Blaster GC7 Gaming DAC and Amp

There's no mention of it being DSD capable, so that's a pass for me (IF I were looking for a DAC combo that is). I was an audiophile (wannabe) but after taking stock of the amount of money I was throwing into that branch of my hobbies, I'd decided to quit. I'm enjoying whatever audiophile gear...

Even Holier Shiat!!! o_O An RX 6700 XT that cost more than my Nitro+ RX 6900 XT!!!o_Oo_Oo_O Man, I'm feeling real good about making the jump, a leap of faith so to say, when I'd gotten the Nitro+ RX 6900 XT when I did. :rockout:

The RX 6000 series Owners' Club

Delenn said that! (Referring to Sheridan, who was in B5 behind her ships, and the puny Earth Force ships in front of her). Told ya I'm B5 man! Got the series on DVD, including the movies....sorry guys, I kinda went off topic. I get kinda excited when I talk about B5.

The RX 6000 series Owners' Club

Holy....Shiat! That's insane!!! My Sapphire RX 6900 XT cost me 1300+ USD (when I got it late December/early Jan), that's effectively 1105 EUR at present conversion rate, so my RX 6900 XT is actually cheaper than the Gigabyte RX 6700 XT Gaming OC!:eek::kookoo::kookoo: Edit - BTW, just...

First NVIDIA Palit CMP 30HX Mining GPU Available at a Tentative $723

Yep, unlike the GTX 1000 series that were used for mining 2-3 years back, then sold as gaming GPU's in the Used/Garage market, affecting sales to the then newly released RTX 2000 cards as many opted for used GTX1000 cards instead. Now, it's an nVidia money grab for GPU's sold as CMP cards at...

will a rtx 3060 ti be enough for a 400w 80+ bronze psu?

Jells with my philosophy, and I've advised peeps asking about PSU to always step up higher than what is needed, for added headroom for future upgrades. ALL my PSUs are 1kW or higher, and I have four of them......Enermax (MAX REVO 1500W), Seasonic (X-1250) and Corsair (HX1050, HX 1000 Plat). When...

PowerColor RX 6700 XT Hellhound Pictured

Saw the Gigabyte Aorus Elite RX 6700 XT and it looks pretty good, but given my track record with Gigabyte, I'd give GB GPU's a pass. I'd still take this Hellhound over it, or better yet, a Red Devil RX 6700 XT.....though my interest is purely academic for now as I I don't need another GPU for now.

AMD to Supply Only a Few Thousand Radeon RX 6700 XT GPUs for Europe at Launch

The price of GPU's is plain nutz these days, I see scalpers listing an RTX 3060 for 1130USD, and the RTX 3060 Ti for 1188USD in the local tech Garage section.....pure mind numbing madness!:wtf:

Does the MERC 319 RX 6800 resemble the MERC 319 RX 6800 XT? I ask because the Nitro+ RX 6800 sure as heck look like the Nitro+ RX 6900 XT, below is a pic from when I'd just gotten the RX 6900 XT compared to the RX 6800, dimension and build wise, they look very similar.....don't let the angle...

    Team red

That's why I had asked, OP's system specs had stated RX 6800 XT, but his screenshot is that of an RX 6800. He obviously made a mistake in his system specs, that's all, I don't mean to sound pedantic. The RX 6800 is an excellent high end card, capable of playing any AAA titles without a problem...
  24. GamerGuy

    Team red

Yep, I saw his System Specs, but I asked because his GPU-Z screenshot shows 3840 shaders, specs-wise RX 6800 XT has 4608 shaders. 3840 shaders is what the RX 6800 has.

'Grats on going all in for Team Red like moi! :toast: Actually,, since building my rig late 2019 with an R9 3900X + X570, I'd been using a PowerColor RX VEGA64 Red Devil, so basically all in Team Red since 2019. Is yours an RX 6800 XT or vanilla 6800? I ask because GPU-Z shown doesn't include...
