XFX R9-390 way too hot, sucking up too many watts doing nothing

I agree about an HAF also. I had very similar issues years ago tried an Antec then a Tt V6000 and just had constant heat issues, and I prolly had some of the most Wild fan setup's ever seen on TPU and they all told me the same thing, Get a dam case that will move more air so the most likely case...

Intel DZ68BC, no boot no BIOS

Well it could be possible that if running or just a bad GPU, a surge could have got thru to the CPU .... and the iGPU is on the CPU As for update, You'll need to F7 to get it to do the BIOS update, but it may be an issue to know if it's asking "where" to find the file from, not sure you need...

Guys, I'm in need of your wisdom.. 2600k and Z77 OCF board overclocking...

First Ever heard of such a thing, @cadaveca You have any knowledge of this ? Dave has used it vastly more than I have, and I been using XTU since I got my 2600K, at least in January 2012 , and that is how I was able to get the 5.2Ghz OC on mine. Intel XTU is more for system monitoring and...

That screenie is of XTU, Intel Tuning Utility, I Don't do Intel Burn Test, or them other crazy loading test for the just because. If your system will play and do everything you ask even if it's crunching ect, then good. I Don't believe that running Prime, ect for hours justifies a "stable" OC...

Corsair 360mm AIO still doesn't beat the Corsair H110GT... why?

They just need to make some with like the HAF in mind to use a 230mm Rad and fan to match. Get the best of large rad and Super quiet fan operation

Guys, I'm in need of your wisdom.. 2600k and Z77 OCF board overclocking...

If they have the visual bios maybe they need to go to the classic mode, that's where I have to go to get over 4.5. I have a DZ77GA-70 board, and although I'm having a couple issues, I have determined it to be related to the BIOS that was last issued for it. TBH I'm confused about the "rarity...

    E5-2690 v2 on LGA2011 x79 platform; mem clocks @ 1866MHz

May be 2 things that are an issue, 1. It might be that for that board and CPU just wont do it as observed, 2. You may need to use an older BIOS. I have ran into this issue with a move from my Z68 to Z77. Only swapped the motherboard but it will Not let me change the "Default" 1600 speed of the...

How to recover data from RAW Hard Disk

Did you select those options? It show's you have 32Gb's of data you think that's correct? Just tell it Yes to all, then when it's done it may give you Green, Yellow or Red selections, look for the largest Green data to recover. Gaming benchmarks: Core i7 3770K 4.5 GHz vs Core i7 6700K 4.5 GHz

I believe he is referring to the stock voltage here As you can see It's default voltage and active voltage are the same I just added a .040mv Turbo voltage and up'd the power limits. It's what has worked from the onset with this combo so I'm not going to complain.

    What happened to ABIT?

it was acquired by Universal Scientific International (USI) in May 2006, then started to operate under the brand name Universal ABIT. I feel it was a hostile takeover in the hiding. They were a top contender and tbh I think Intel could have had a hand especially after the 865PE boards (AI7)...

Have you tried adjusting your timings with the OC ? You gained faster Latency which is to be expected but it will need to be offset with tighter timings also. There is lot of gains in the tieriatary timings that can make huge gains in certain situation[ which is a whole other level] Dave and...
