ATI didn't die, AMD just bought them out. Then they died, like you say. Such a shame hey.
I used to love my ATI cards damn it.
Yep me too. That's the one.
Cooled my fully sick 9800 Pro :)
Had one of these 10 years ago, although not as slick.
It was called a "Fan Card".
Why cant video card manufacturers make the power inputs at the end of the cards?
It would look sooooo much cleaner (power cable wise) than the...
I say go for it mate.
The board alone will give you a few upgrades with M.2 etc.
I would stretch for the 7820X for a more real feel of an...
I've had my 1070's since day dot and they have been awesome :)
Dunno, never got to find out lol
Yeah I agree about it being very rare for CPU's to be DOA but it looks like it in this case...
I've pretty much tried everything...
Yeah got an SSD for windows to boot up, if it does boot...
Cheers. Ill take the sata cable out and give it a shot and report back.
Like a CD rom? If so then the answer is no. The only peripheral I have plugged in atm is the keyboard, so I can get into bios if it boots. Thanks.
That's what I'm thinking. Its Fubar.
I'm only using 1 stick of RAM atm.
Yeah its weird. When I put the 4930K back in it says "New CPU Installed" like its registering the 3930K.
I have tried different pci-e slots for vga but have not tried using pcie 2.0 mode via the bios.
I will slap in the 4930k select pcie...
A while back I bought myself a X79 system to play around with. It sported a 4930K with Rampage 4 Formula and 16Gb of 1866 4x4. No issues...
Isn't that similar to a GTX 1060??
Id recommend a GTX 1070 or stretch for a 1080. I got a second hand 1080 locally for $550 AUD a while back...
Yep the good old Artic Silver with a P4 Northwood under water stuck like glue.
Soooooo many time's I had to realign the CPU pins.
Yep, I love my original retail boxes.
I used to chuck them out but then I realized how much more comforting it is to see the original box.
Yeah will probably have a look see at it.
Why? Coz I love buying new hardware....
This is what I use atm
Not for the Ti price, no
Yeah that'll be right... :(
Any mention of socket?
I see 1151 on the CPU-Z.
Be nice if it's going to donk in a Z170 or Z270 :)
You using PCI-E risers?
Separate names with a comma.
