Applied. Sent the application twice because I forgot to add the other note, sorry

8th Gen Core i3 Part of Intel's First "Coffee Lake" Wave

As a 4790k owner, I'd say the 8700k would be a really good upgrade option IF they'd stop using "glue" as thermal compound - unlikely considering even the HEDT CPU's are now "glued together"... It's a shame, though they still ask premium for unlocked CPU's, at least the i5+ parts should not have...

AMD's Ryzen Chips 10% Smaller Than Comparable Intel Skylake Dies

This either compares only the x86 CPU cores (not the whole die) or misleading. Because the "comparable" 4/8 CPU die also includes an IGP...

Looking for volunteers with Fiji GPUs to figure out ASIC Quality

Thanks just tested it with my Fury OC:

    Sapphire R9 390 Nitro 8 GB

The only (reasonable) way of Battlefront benchmarks would be to do it in MP matches (or in a similar demanding scenario) - but this is not something that can be (consistently) reproduced... There is no point to benchmark the game in Missions mode it's not a "realworld scenario", it would only...

    Sapphire R9 390 Nitro 8 GB

I think the power consumption - especially during video playback - has been improved with Crimson. 15.9.1 is a pretty old driver they've had 2 WHQL's since then.

Sapphire Unveils TriXX with "Fiji" Voltage Control and HBM Overclocking

Got 1104 MHz with stock (1250mV) voltage on my Sapphire Fury. I was able to hit 1130 with +48 mV but that's it, even with +78 mV can't get stable 1140 MHz.

Black Ops III: 12 GB RAM and GTX 980 Ti Not Enough

Activision must be jealous to the "attention" what WB got with Batman: AK if they allowed to release this... :wtf:

Fury X Display Corruption under low load

Thanks anyway I forgot you have a Fury X. Sapphire sent me a new bios after all: 113-1E3292U-O5C (015.049.000.008.000000) dated 2015. 10. 14. will see if it helps... UPDATE 2015.11.09: The new vBIOS DOES NOT solve the problem.

Fury X Display Corruption under low load

Can you upload the new vBIOS file ? I asked Sapphire support about a new bios but they keep sending me registry files to reset my CCC settings instead :D

Fury X Display Corruption under low load

I think it's too early to tell... My Sapphire Fury "once" worked fine for 2 weeks.

AMD Readies Catalyst Omega 2015 Drivers for November

Exactly, they sold a relatively small ammount of FIJI GPU based cards, yet this specific issue is pretty common (just check the AMD support thread) with Fury X, Asus/Sapphire Fury cards and possibly with the Nano. If this is a hardware issue it affects pretty much all of these GPU's. A Fury X...

Fury X Display Corruption under low load

    I've modded my bios/ccc settings to limit the power states, here are the PowerTune states with the default bios/settings: DPM0: GPUClock = 300 MHz, VID = 0.90000 V DPM1: GPUClock = 508 MHz, VID = 0.93100 V DPM2: GPUClock = 717 MHz, VID = 0.93700 V DPM3: GPUClock = 874 MHz, VID = 1.03700 V...

Fury X Display Corruption under low load

Yes, idle desktop or in a web browser. Well, I've had it with Chrome, Steam and when none of them ran :D So I guess HW accelaration makes it happen more frequently but it's not the only reason.

Fury X Display Corruption under low load

Correct me if I'm wrong but ULPS is for CF configs to disable the secondary GPU when idle/desktop, right ? So it won't make any difference with one card. I have the artifacting issue with all drivers I even increased the lowest Powertune state voltage by 25 mV (0.9V -> 0.925V) and still the same....

ASUS STRIX 970 - "wrong" VDDC

Hello! On ASUS STRIX 970 GPU-Z reports the wrong voltage - I compared with GPU Tweak and HWInfo as a secondary mointor, after overclocking and applying additional voltage. Looks like there is an additional voltage sensor which always shows 1.2V as maximum and that's what GPU-Z currently reports.

    Perfcap Reason not shown

The problem only exists in "Standalone" mode. If I install GPU-Z it's working. I had to delete this regkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\techPowerUp\GPU-Z then start GPU-Z and select installation.

    Perfcap Reason not shown

I'VE SEEN IT FOR THE FIRST TIME! - by the way we are in the correct forum section... I also don't know why are you mentioning unlikely reasons (like the memory problem and idle state/no full screen render) when it's clearly has nothing to do with it.
  22. Szaby59

    Perfcap Reason not shown

The memory problem has nothing to do with this... Also the sensor should be dispalyed even if I run a render in windowed mode...
