NVIDIA's Market Cap to Reach $100 billion Soon; Grew ~$25 billion Since May 2017

Short term volatility but yeah, it's a Las Vegas Casino imo. ;) Day Trader hell but let them deal with it. That's what they do.

Buy a 1080ti now or wait?

imo I wouldn't wait any longer for Vega at this point. If you want the best then go 1080 Ti. Even if you choose to wait for Volta remember that Nvidia releases their midrange GPUs first which will match and exceed a 1080 Ti on the upper midrange Volta GPU. The Volta Gaming Flagship will be...

NVIDIA's Market Cap to Reach $100 billion Soon; Grew ~$25 billion Since May 2017

There's not really anything that a reasonable person can find to say negatively about Nvidia financially. They've been hitting home runs for quite a while now. They've been unopposed in this generation's mid range to upper midrange GPU market for a year now and of course completely own the high...

CD Projekt Red: We Will Not Give In to the Demands of Thieves

CD Projekt Red really doesn't have much of a choice but to go this route imo. Paying off the blackmailers wouldn't stop them. Most likely they would just demand more money and if they didn't get it then they would release whatever they had anyway.

How much are you willing to spend on a keyboard?

Well, the way the question is worded to me doesn't mean how much did I spend on my last keyboard or even the one before it in which both cases were less than the amount I voted for but I am willing to spend that amount if I need to in order to get what I want.

In addition to that some Developers are moving away from supporting Crossfire/SLI altogether since fewer and fewer people are going that route these days.

[US] GTX 980 ti $200 new from EVGA

I don't think that EVGA will ship to you using the link in the opening post. https://www.evga.com/support/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=59306 But if you have someone with a USA address to mail it to and then they mailed it to you that would probably work.

Linus Has Some Things to Say about Core i9 and X299

Well H1 isn't over until June 30th but I don't expect any miracle to take place and AMD meet that deadline. Last they said was end of July. If they put it off again at that point it's going to get ugly on tech forums.

    FarCry 5

Well, I was on Amazon and I checked. $15 but to get free shipping you need to order $25 from them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KAED6Y8/?tag=tec06d-20 tbh I would wait 2 weeks for the Steam Summer Sale and you might get it even cheaper.

NVIDIA, AMD to Launch Mining-Oriented Versions of Their GPUs

Both are true but it depends on the application. AMD is more efficient for mining and Nvidia is more efficient for gaming. Neither AMD nor Nvidia does both the best.

    $69 Gaming PC

Did it come with a complimentary fire extinguisher? :p From a review on Newegg for that PSU: Pros: Can power 200 W no problem Cons: The leads melted on the pcb for the power on my rX 480 graphics card. NVIDIA, AMD to Launch Mining-Oriented Versions of Their GPUs

From what little I observed with the past mining craze that will probably be the case. Miners want to get in at the beginning when it's easier to generate crypto-currency so there will be a huge demand right away before either Nvidia or AMD can ramp up production. Cards could be in short supply...

Decided to stop the Vega waiting and get a GTX 1070

If you're thinking about getting a mid range Volta then 6 months is probably a reasonable guess but for anyone wanting the gaming Flagship Volta Ti the wait will be considerably longer based on Nvidia's past release cycles. With Kepler, Maxwell and Pascal we got the mid range GPUs first and...

    FarCry 5

Well, in comparison Waco is different from the Far Cry 5 premise. Waco was just the Branch Davidian Compound whereas in Far Cry 5 the cultists are basically taking over a small town and surrounding area and it's up to the protagonist to fight them. In Waco iirc there were the ATF, FBI, State...

An honest understanding of thread count and utilization.

Don't let it bother you. I guess us gamers are just more extroverted and tend to post more. Frankly that's all I care about with my desktop is how it applies to PC gaming. I have no interest in any other uses except I keep an inexpensive gaming laptop for when I travel and of course surfing the...

An honest understanding of thread count and utilization.

I think that's where the issue is for using more and more cores for gaming. There are some things that lend themselves to parallel processing very well i.e. what GPUs do and there are some things that don't. I'm not a programmer but I have seen comments from programmers saying that it is...
