Looks like a rock garden made of mouse pads in that first pic.
I'm hoping prices stop being stagnant but I'd also like to see a 5 or 6 TB option. Things have been frozen on both fronts for awhile.
No, I mean Hynix. New round of GTX 1060s with Hynix are lucky to get 300 Mhz on the mem. About half the speed bump of Samsung or Micron
The GPU version of this is sudden memory vendor changes. It's happened a lot where reviewers got good clocking memory and the consumers got shit....
I'd be tempted but with z390/8 core support next year it feels like it's just a stop gap.
I was bored so I busted out the studio lights. https://imgur.com/a/BKyEc
Just pulled my Palit 8800 GTS 512 1GB Sonic. Been running strong all these years. This is an oddball card that I don't think they sold very many...
As long as I saw it in reviews it was always at the top or near it against much faster running chips, even in non cpu limited scenarios.
That was part of the appeal, it was topping gaming charts while running much slower/using less power.
I never understood why they didn't include this in later chips. It certainly made a large performance improvement. Wonder if it hurt profit margins.
I haven't seen miners going after this in bulk, more of a novelty item. Supply and pricing issues rest squarely on AMD's shoulders.
Honestly this is just stupid and childish on AMDs part.
Is that a cpu block/pump/res combo? If so it'd be nice to just get that and pair it with whatever radiator you wanted.
I'd trade one of those lan ports for another usb.
Because he won't get to use it.
How come the max and average clocks are higher and the max overclock is higher on the Gigabyte but MSI and Asus are 5 fps faster on the overclock...
I'm really thinking of your standard youtube work more so than say exporting some heavily edited RED footage. I think that would be most relevant...
Premiere pro leans far more on the cpu than gpu. The gpu side tends to cap out early.
If you're going to keep including overclock numbers I'd like to see premiere pro 4k and 1080 export times.
That's the one. Figured there was something wrong. I want to see some premiere 4k exports.
Surprised to see the 7700k beat it at video encoding.
