CybertronPC's CLX Custom PC Line Now Available Online

I didn't know, thanks. Damn, they can make some great looking cases when they want to. Looks like they also have some shit ugly ones, lol.

CybertronPC's CLX Custom PC Line Now Available Online

Not that I would buy an enthusiast / gaming pre-built, but at least those cases look damn good compared to all the crap looking "gaming" cases that have been coming out.

Barrow Liquid Cooling Products Now Available on ModMyMods

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they come from the same OEM.

License Agreement Confusion Causes Misinformation over Windows 10 Overreach

It's as if some media sources make their titles as outlandish as possible to get more views. No. That can't be true.

    Seasonic Snow Silent 750 W

Wait... I've been using one cable each for both of my 280x's from my CM V1000. Should I be using 4 cables?

It's Now Been Over 160 Days Since a Catalyst WHQL Release

Completely agree. IF the beta has the necessary crossfire optimizations. I'm still waiting for that to work on Shadow of Mordor with my 2 x 280X.

Crossfire Help in Shadow of Mordor

I do agree. Crossfire has been horrible. I'll certainly be getting a single card next time around, but until then, I would like these to work, especially on games that are 6-8 months old. Crossfire does work in other games currently (GTA V, Diablo 3), but I've had more than a few problems...

Crossfire Help in Shadow of Mordor

System is in the specs. XFX R9 280X in Crossfire. Using the current Beta drivers, support for Shadow of Mordor was listed last year, shortly after release. When the game fires up, the menus and loading screen ramp up both my cards to the 1000mHz max, but once the game loads and starts, the...

AMD Readying "Godavari" APUs for May Launch, 14 nm APUs in 2016

I'm pretty ignorant to the whole APU scene. How are AMD's APUs different than Intel's HD Graphics? Also, if my primary computer usage is gaming, is there any benefit to an APU over the traditional CPU + GPU?

Acer Releases the H257HU 25-Inch WQHD Monitor

If my primary PC usage is playing my favorite games, then that certainly is what its about. The tech for that is just not there yet for me to drop money on a 4k, only to have my computer either brought to a screeching halt when I play, or have to downscale to 1080/1440p, and have the weird...

Acer Releases the H257HU 25-Inch WQHD Monitor

Maybe a lot of people are not looking to spend $700 on a 4k monitor like that. $370 might be in their wheelhouse, and 1440p is not so shabby. Even still, I'd be more interested in a 1440p IPS @ 120hz without having to gamble on a Korean overclocked panel.

    Buying GFX cards on Ebay

Been watching eBay for the last couple months, looking for a maybe upgrade. Its either over priced or sketchy at best. I'd rather wait for someone on one of these forums to post something up.

    Headset for gaming need advices

My current addiction... http://www.head-fi.org/products/akg-k612-pro-reference-studio-headphones These sound great, and won't put you over you price range. Just throw on a clip on mic. You can digital surround for gaming if that's what you want through your mobo drivers or soundcard. edit...

    Crashing with Crossfire 280X

Bit more digging. Apparently Crossfire doesn't play well with a 144hz refresh rate on the monitor. Took it down to 120hz and it works now. Is this just a driver thing?

    Crashing with Crossfire 280X

Title says it. I've tried both cards individually, and they work fine. They also work in Crossfire at lower resolutions, but not at 1920x1080. I get a blank red screen, then a system reboot on any game. Tried both the previous Catalyst drivers and the ones released today, 13.11 Beta 8. Only...

    Gaming Build

Thanks for the input on Gigabyte. I might give them a chance, looking at the reviews, I'll keep the RMAs in mind. I have some time before I can build it, so some more research won't be a bad thing.

    Gaming Build

Ok, got it. So, comparing other 770's around here, since the 770 is cheaper than the 680, why would the Gigabyte one be even more discounted than others? Compared to a similarly clocked EVGA, its $50 cheaper.

    Gaming Build

Thanks for the quick response RCoon. GTX 680 looks to be around $480 here. Most of the benchmarks I've seen have the 770 slightly outperforming the 680, and $100 cheaper. I understand they are basically the same card, but how is the 770 gimped compared to the 680?

    Gaming Build

Got a deal at Newegg on a Haswell i5, MSI MPower Mobo, Cooler Master 1000W Power Supply and a HAF X Case, now looking at video cards for my build. Found this one so far: Gigabyte GTX 770 WINDFORCE 3X OC Reviews on the card seem to be great, but I'm confused on why its marked down so...

MSI GT780 Laptop Shuts Off During Games

All right, did a reading on the power adapter, rated for output of 19V. I got 19.5V. I think that narrows it down to the actual card. I'll let MSI know what I found and we'll see how they want to do it. Once again, thanks for the help everyone.

MSI GT780 Laptop Shuts Off During Games

Rated for 180 w. It is a pretty big one. Percentage doesn't drop while playing, stays at 97%. Haven't seen it above 98% in a while.
