Seagate Giveaway: IronWolf 125 960 GB SSD

I need the Seagate IronWolf 125 960 GB SSD because ARK survival evolved keeps growing and therefore consuming more disk space!

Nothing but BSODs, fresh Zen3 build.

I could say the same about Intel with the amount of open security vulnerabilities  Very immature if you gain performance at the price of security. The newer AGESA revisions adds functions like BAR, Curve Optimizer and improved memory support for newer RAM dies. But you see them as...

Nothing but BSODs, fresh Zen3 build.

You only tested 3 bioses according this thread. 1401 Beta 1602 AGESA 1.1.0.0 Patch B -> 1202 Did you even try 1004?, I asked you before never got a respond. If you have a motherboard brand which releases lots of beta's and recalled them often, I would have my doubts about if they can even...

No doubt about it, you are Dutch. Complaining a lot  I think you still could tried a few things before throwing the towel.

Try to set it to 1.05v ~1.10v fixed instead of offset.

Can you share a screenshot of ZenTimings? I am currious about the SOC voltage as well.

Nothing but BSODs, fresh Zen3 build.

Did you even try bios version 1004? Please post a screenshot of ZenTimings since it is very important to have the correct memory configuration. Too high auto voltages can also cause an instable system

Nothing but BSODs, fresh Zen3 build.

Horror stories? I am one of the early adopters with Ryzen  The first generation was the only generation which had major memory issues. Those were solved with newer AGESA versions But I think Asus is the culprit of your issues. Can you try to downgrade to bios version 1004?

Can you install all ram sticks and create a screenshot with ZenTimings? (https://zentimings.protonrom.com/)

ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII (Wi-FI) Beta BIOS / FW 3101

Did you make a screenshot of the working configuration with zentimings? If some parts are still on auto they can change with every boot and give you an unstable system when you least expected. Which kind of stress tests do you use to validate your system? Another tip is when you are going to...

ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII (Wi-FI) Beta BIOS / FW 3101

Gold sample processor vs Brons sample processor. Its the silicon lottery when buying. If you are truely unlucky you can even get a Stone sample processor  It doesnt almost allow you to overclock but still operates within the specification of the processor manufacturer.

ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII (Wi-FI) Beta BIOS / FW 3101

Still no guarantee it will work at 3600MHz. Its part of the silicon lottery. If you are unlucky the integrated memory controller is not stable at 3600MHz with four dual rank sticks. For someone which is asking for help you're quite stubborn. Please test it with just two dimm's installed to see...

Maybe you should read the notes listed on top of the QVL: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/ROG_CROSSHAIR-VIII-HERO_WI-FI/Memory_QVL_for_AMD_Ryzen_3000_X570-4DIMM.pdf

ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII (Wi-FI) Beta BIOS / FW 3101

You got this wrong. The motherbord is certified but your processor isnt formally specified to run memory at 3600MHz with 4 dual rank sticks at all! Your 3950X only support 3200MHz with 2 dimms. Everything above 3200MHz is OVERCLOCK. No guarantee it will work. With 4 dimms installed the...

ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII (Wi-FI) Beta BIOS / FW 3101

You are comparing something which isnt comparable. Did your previous memory kit use the same dram chips? Most likely not. Did the kit ran at the same speed? I guess no since 3000MHz memory kit != 3600MHz memory kit You dont really know if it is stable at 3600MHz. When you just use 2 sticks...

ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII (Wi-FI) Beta BIOS / FW 3101

Why should Karmal disable Gear Down mode? If Gear Down Mode is enabled the system will be more stable. @Karmal Did you already had time to test it with just 2 sticks installed?

After the bios update you still need a Ryzen 5000 and a RX6000 graphics card to get it working  CLKDrvStr = 24 (if it doesnt work properly, try a higher value like 30 or 40) AddrCmdDrvStr = 20 CsOdtDrvStr = 20 CKEDrvStr = 24
