    Random 1800x Benchmarks

Thank you. I tried even 1.55 but no hopes of 4.1Ghz. Have to up the cooling I reckon.

    Random 1800x Benchmarks

What's the Vcore you set in BIOS? (CPU-Z reading may not be accurate). I don't have that much luck on Crosshair VI Hero as compared to my MSI X370 Xpower.

    Random 1800x Benchmarks

That voltage is pretty much what it is on idle but CPU-Z doesn't quite report it correctly. For example I set mine to 1.4 but CPU-Z shows it as 1.55. This is my vcore on idle, stock config. Once overclocked with 1.4vcore, the report from CPU-Z says otherwise. The AMD Ryzen Master...

Is it worth going 3WAY SLI with a GTX280?

Instead of Tri-SLIng the GTX280, I personally would just go SLI + OC.

How to set up Windows SMP/SMP2 CPU Client

I tried the SMP client on i5 and I find that it's just not worth the PPD considering the processor takes up 100w even without OCing. that's like 3k+ PPD per 100w. a low powered 9600GT could do the same for half the wattage.

Mixing nVidia Cards (not an SLI related question)

Hi, I hope you guys can help me out a little here. I have a mixed arsenal of nVidia cards which I intend to use for folding@home. I've no problem setting up multi-GPU folding but the purpose of this thread is to find out more about mixing of nVidia cards. I'm having a hard time finding...

Mixing nVidia Cards (not an SLI related question)

it still beats folding with ATI cards, which reminds me I haven't got the HD5770 to successfully fold despite giving the R700 argument. btw, just tested the GT220 with my other SLI rig that already has GTS250....... didn't work. It worked like a charm on the P55 with GTX260+ but not with the...

Would DDR2 be a bottleneck on GeForce GT220?

get the DDR3 version. I'm using the GT220 1GB DDR3 version now and I'm surprised that it could actually handle games quite well, usually with 0xAA of course.

Bought a GALAXY GeForce 210 graphics card

I'm using the GT220 now. Looks good so far. Now doing my 2nd round of benching, this time with lower settings to see how's the framerate like. Power Consumption looks like my 9600GT Low Power / Low Profile version. The card feels faster then a 9500GT but slower than 9600GSO (it's been a...

    1156 cooling

Just to share. I just received an Intel i5-750, MSI P55-GD65 and Gigabyte P55-UD6. Now the thing was that Intel reps handed me just the processor, no stock heatsink. bummer. Good thing was that Tuniq's Tower 120 Extreme just arrived - it came with bracket for 775 and 1366. After...

    Gigabyte P55-UD6 overclocking with Core i5 750

nice. I'll be getting my i5 tonight! :D now i just need a board. I'm just busy today or else I would be collecting the board today. :D it's still dual channel. unlike the UD3 / UD4 where you have 2 DIMM per channel, the UD6 has 3 DIMM per channel.

    Nvidia renaming their lineup . . . . again

I did another check, seems like the GT220 is more like a 9500GT.

    Nvidia renaming their lineup . . . . again

is there 4? AFAIK there basically just 2. the 96 SP and 48 SP. the 96 SP versions are on 192bit, while the 48 SP version are on 256bit. are there 128bit variants? I don't recall seeing any, not on nVidia's site either. btw there's the G210 (a 9500GT renamed? I didn't check the specs...

    Overclocking E6600 on EP45-UD3P

if you're running 1:1 FSB:RAM then I don't see the need for you to adjust the vdimm voltage since a 1066 would be able to run 800 with ease. :) perhaps you just reached your processor limitation. how's the heat like at your 3.2ghz 1.4vcore?
