    5670 or 5570 support

Sure, but you still need to find the appropriate registers inside BIOS

I guess to make it work under DOS and every other OS without drivers loaded, you need to change "boot" mode

    Ready to flash....???

Oh sorry, I meant RPM monitoring, fan control should still work. 2- I guess that even if you choose different values, voltage will stay the same. You have to check using ATT first (and a multimeter). 3- The cards will default to 800/975.

    Ready to flash....???

I'm going to try to help you. Powercolor non reference cards afaik do not having fan control. 1- As long as the cards are physically the same, flashing should be OK. 2- OK 3- OK, you'll have 990/1200

    Catalyst voltage question

Thanks for your input but it turns out it isn't really necessary to have CCC installed, voltage switching should work with catalyst drivers only installation.

    ATi PowerPlay

I was having the same problem, turns out GPU load was around 44~50% while sitting on the desktop GPU load via GPU-Z was always 0% so I used Everest instead.

    Catalyst voltage question

The card switches from 2D to 3D clocks just fine but does not undervolt in 2D or overvolt in 3D... checked with DMM I usually install drivers only as I dont really need CCC and the extra .Net overload Is it necessary to install CCC in order to have voltage control or just the driver should be...

GPU-Z clockspeeds bouncing around with Asus 5870

I was having the same "problem", minimizing background apps (utorrent) fixed it.

    can i drop voltage on 2d 4870

OK, you'll probably have to manually measure voltages with a DMM. I don't think you'll be able to use software for that.

    can i drop voltage on 2d 4870

Nice clocks there mate! At stocks volts that's impressive! Well, it's probably not going to work because you still need to access voltage registers anyway but go ahead and try, there should be no problems.
