    Corsair H100 problem

If your not using fans on both sides, then you want the fans under the radiator pushing through. It sounds like a pull config what you have setup. This was stated in my manual for the H60. A push/pull will gave the best results. also, i noticed on my, make sure the fan control speed is disabled...

HDTV's and PC's - Info and help thread

I have dealt alot with TV's as PC monitors (using a 32in samsung right now over HDMI and it looks really nice, very clear text). if your wanting 1920*1080, then make sure it can do 1920*1080 in VGA (easy way to indicate that it is a true 1080 TV. Most will only do 1366*768 but claim to be a...

    Which sound card?

To be honest, if what you hve works stick with it. With those speakres your not going to notice a quality difference and most games dont take advantage of EAX. Save that money for upgrading the rest of your system, like more memory or an overhaul at some point.

Yeah, im in KY so when the egg ships it from TN i get it next day. They have almost gotten to big for themselves. But contacting their support is great, just their policies have changed. Ubuntu 11.10 Released

There is this odd push to make the desktop work like a tablet gnome3shell, unity, and even the Windows 8 developer preview. The only time i liked unity was on a netbook, where it made sense and was more useful because of the small screen. That was back on ubuntu 10.4 developer preview.

    Ubuntu 11.10 Released

You can always try one of the spinoffs like Kubuntu, Xubuntu, or Lubuntu. XFCE is the way i have gone and I use that on opensuse, for a couple of reasons. 1) I can choose which DE i want to run and have it properly integrated with the system, out of box, all without downloading a spinoff distro...

    HDMI vs DVI vs VGA

Its not labeled as 1:1 you probably have your TV set to wide zoom or 16:9 cycle those options. For my samsung its the option that lets you change picture placement i believe it is set.

    HDMI vs DVI vs VGA

the your not at 1:1 pixle mapping thats why your start bar is not on screen and text is blurry, you will have to look up the option for your tv. On my Samsung i have set the screen to Set i belive it is for 1:1 pixle mapping. Google it for your model and your issue will be resolved.

    HDMI vs DVI vs VGA

HDMI will look just as good on an HDTV as DVI or VGA, the only difference is you have to make sure your HDTV is set to 1:1 pixle mapping so the image isnt get stretched. And make sure overscan is off or at 0% in display driver control panel. im using a 32inch Samsung LCD @ 1920*1080 over HDMI...

Can install Windows, can't install Linux

Actually Fedora is for desktops, and is usually one of the first to ship with newest kernels and x.org. Red Hat is the server version. Although that doesnt mean it plays well with newer hardware, considering driver have to be developed for newer kernels/xorgs

Can install Windows, can't install Linux

its still the video card, now you need knoppix or something in order to be able to access that hdd so you can edit the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf so you can tell it to use a different video driver, vesa for instance.
