    It's not about "errors" ,if your CPU's IMC can't make it happen you won't even post ,i have tested PCS,Hynix,Samsung =>same RAM/Motherboard but different CPU's<=and very different results ,Dumo would tell you more since his binning anything and everything lol ,2800+ Ivy CPU's are hard to get...

    neah..ppl just paranoid and misinformed ,sandy was such a jump (45=>32nm) that most are not sure what's safe and what not and yes close to 2 years lol and still most are not sure...

    I would be looking @ 2133-2400 kit this days if i were you ..IMC's on (retail) Ivy chips are pretty much hit and miss ,most won't hit 2600+ or even 2400 Mhz (i know and have one which won't go north of 2400) it takes binning ,there was one person on HWBOT that couldn't go over 2133 on his Ivy...

    clear CMOS/with only your OS attached (HDD or SSD) enter BIOS go to BBS HDD PRIORITY ,set your boot device first,go back to main and make sure it shows first /save /boot OS

    Yeah...but my CPU won't go north of 2400 ,i have try PCS/Hynix/Samsung (all type of settings /voltages ,etc)with no avail,if i could run 2600 strap i would be very hapy man

    lets not forget ASrock is Asus sister company (most parts used on the boards are Asus grade=same supplier ),same power delivery ,Offset mode =no problem ..unlike MSI ,etc P.S. the warranty/support probably better than Asus lol
