    Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.

There's a famous line in fine print, pretty much everywhere in the world, that people miss in warranties: "even if the product fails in its intended purpose" Now, legalities aside in a product being merchantable, all that's required by any company for this argument, is for them to honour...

    Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.

I have to second Mussels' statement: you can only go by whatever the stipulation is per region/country/whatever. Obviously, you're in a much better position in Canada, than we are here in Australia. We've always been considered the backwoods of the world, despite having the second-highest...

The AMD Phenom II OC'ers Club

I think I paid AUS$72 for it. I'd say to stick with the V8 though, and use some OCZ Freeze thermal paste to compliment it. Judging by the reviews, there's something about the way the V8 is setup that makes it more efficient than the V10 :D

OK, well he should be able to get one through any of the e-tailers down there. Shouldn't be more than $52 at the most. Some sell them more cheaply. Thing is; it's not going to be a budget cooler once you factor in the cost of getting it to you. Unless you can get the postage cost down or for...

Not sure mate. As far as I'm aware, they're only selling on the Australian market (maybe New Zealand too). I'll have a look around to see where else they sell these :toast:

Ah! That'll be the Aywun A1-V8. I have the A1-V10 atm, which is just fine. The V8 actually gets a better wrap then the V10, but I can't see how that is (V10=5 copper pipes per side; the V8 is 4 per side). Use that heatsink with 1 (or 2) Scythe Gentle Typhoon(s), or the SlipStream (1900rpm) & you...

Use the High setting, with the default 5 runs as a minimum. For reference, you may want to enable logging as well. Standard is OK, but it's really not as good in finding probs, should there be any :)

    Harddrive failures getting worse?

I'd have to start suspecting a bad PSU with that kind of luck.. Do you know what the relative voltages are?

    Anti Static Wrist Strap Question.

I've had components (RAM to be exact) die on me, whilst taking it out of of the anti-static packaging, as this very action caused that much ESD that I didn't even have to touch it. The amount of static the outside of the packaging itself collected during transport was simply rediculous. This is...

    Anti Static Wrist Strap Question.

Gotcha. That shouldn't be a problem. Um.. why would you not just use that RAM straight out though? Ooh.. just 'perving' on the new goodies perhaps? Not that I ever do such a thing often :toast:

    Anti Static Wrist Strap Question.

LOL! Potentially, you will hurt yourself first. Working with a strap, is mainly for use with the PC turned off. In theory.. you work whilst the PC is off. Why would it need to be on? (just curious)

Corsair vs PC P&C vs Silverstone

Personally I don't think so - not by a great margin I'd imagine. Others here may have a different experience though. If you look around jonnyguru's site, you'll most likely find a review on whichever PSU you might be after. If nothing else, you will get an honest appraisal, even if the brand in...

Corsair vs PC P&C vs Silverstone

What worries me, is the quality since OCZ took them over. OCZ tends to suffer from MBS (Marketing BS), rather than concentrating on quality assurance/control. They're great in some of the industry's best hype, but not all that great in actually performing anywhere near the hype (not saying...

Corsair vs PC P&C vs Silverstone

The HX850 is actually a bit of an anomaly, even for Corsair. It's simply, well, awesome. Some reviewers have been able to run this particular PSU above its 850w rating, without the thing shutting down or losing much in the way of efficiency. A good, honest appraisal can be found on good ole...

    NVIDIA GeForce 4XX Series Discussion

I don't think there will be too many surprises all up, to be honest. As is usually the case (same with CPUs, et al), some applications will favour one over the other. So, nVidia will be better in some things, ATI will be better in others. In the end, it simply depends on what you want from your...

Just a question on that: are you referring to die temperature, or core? Only asking, as the max temps are stipulated by AMD in regards to die, not core. Not sure why they stipulate that, but there it is.. :toast:

Corsair vs PC P&C vs Silverstone

Corsair's HX series is a higher efficiency PSU design. Better overall. PCP&C is owned by OCZ, so time will tell if their original quality remains. As stated above, you can't really go too far wrong with any of the ones in the line-up. My money remains on Corsair's HX series though. I am...

That X-Fi is PCI only, so it should fit in the PCI slot on the CHIII, albeit a tight fit :)

    Windows 7 BSOD's

You may want to try a clean re-install of the mobo's chipset drivers. Also, can you test your system with another known-working PSU? A faulty one of these can cause all sorts of weird and not-so-wonderful errors, much like what you're describing..
