These probably are finals, they are not WHQL and therefore should be considered BETA.

The Catalyst version string is blacked out because these drivers don't contain the string in the inf and therefore will carryover your last version string.

These are newer then RC6 and RC7.

Those are RC6 drivers, these are newer. The ones you linked to are from Sept. 10, these are Sept. 18 and contain newer OpenGL, CCC and a few other things.

Your drivers are the same, 8.66 are exactly the same as the drivers in the AMD website.

RC7 was Sept.14 and contained and updated OpenGL andd CCC over RC6.

These are the newest 8.660 and contain a newer CCC over RC7 and a few other things.

I'm on a free Megauploads account, I don't get points and don't see what that has to do with anything.

Also if you did not know the inf files within the drivers always tell you the actual drivers build date.

And there is also an RC7 thread here already.

True, but the drivers you are posting are not from AMD, directly, but from a 3rd Party manufacturer, the latest AMD version is the RC6, RC7 is from MSI.

Anyway, why don't link directly to the files you downloaded? Free MegaUpload :slap::D
