so i have a g.skill gen 1 64gig ssd puts out about 180meg read and 90 write.. should i put my os on that or put it on a partition on my 2 7200.11 320gig drives in raid 0 which have a sustained read over 150 but a 20ms seek time??

before you question the seek time, the drives are fine, they've been like that since day one and i regret ever buying them.. but they're all i got right now besides the ssd so lets work with these two choices.

Just put OS on your SSD, u won't regret it. Is blazing fast. I was once faced with same dillema, SSD vs RAID. Now i am happy with SSD where XP resides, it is super fast and quiet. Getting another 40GB Intel SSD next week to put Win7 on it, so I could use TRIM function on both SSD disk.
