120mm case fans best for push/static/CFM on radiators?

Kaze flex II 120 there are three models, take the loudest one :]

CFM ~ 90.28
mmH2O / Pa ~ 26.28

So this is a12x25 with 2.34 mm H₂O static pressure

And this is nf12 with 2.61 mm H₂O

To add in salt to injury, the one with higher static pressure has max rpm of 1500, while the other one is 2000

Don’t trust manufacturer specs, and especially don’t compare specs between manufacturers. You don’t know what the testing conditions are for either, or if the manufacturer changed over time.

VSG does some excellent reviews here — I’d recommend looking there. Even then, the numbers don’t tell the whole story, like the terrible motor noise on NF-F12s or the awful noise against Arctic fans make when next to a filter.

More, static pressure and CFM in and of themselves don’t tell the whole story — it’s why the NF-A12 was designed the way it was and outperforms both the NF-P12 and NF-F12, and why the GT design has become the de facto standard for performance against radiators or filters.

Well here it says NF-F12 is optimal for rad, not NF-A12x25

Don’t trust the company trying to sell you their fans. The F12 pushes less air through a radiator with more noise. Noctua is just resting on the reputation of a fan that’s more than a decade old and isn’t even as good as a GT.

idk what happened to Ed but he was great too

I am 90% certain SPCR tested the F12 bundled with a heatsink but can’t find the review :(
