    j0 all.

Can I, with some modding of course, use a standard ATX-PSU (300somethingw) to power a 12v TFT monitor? The reason I want to do it is 1) I have loads of them, and 2) that monitor isn't that good (it's way old) but it has S-VHS, which is awesome.

I did have some kind of power transformator (or whatever it's called), but it pretty much exploded.. Does anyone have a link to something that allows me to run the screen from the wall (240v)? I have COMPLETELY forgotten what that kind of device is called, or where I can buy one.

    Thanks for looking! :)

as long as it doesnt draw more current than the PSU provides, it should be fine.
