Razer has just released a revamped version of their old Lachesis mouse. The revision features a much newer Philip Twin-eye laser sensor which is capable of producing coherent tracking at up to 200 IPS, at a maximum resolution of 5600 DPI. We put it to the test and see if this specification-monster is good in real life application.

I have been gaming with the 1st model for over a year. I like it but it's about time for a new mouse.

If this one gets an 8 which ones got a 9 or a 10? Is there a list of TPU reviewed mice?

Theside buttons get stuck on the older model in apps like Teamspeak and Vent.

not physically though but more like software stuck. And with that said would not touch another..

Wow, an even more durable cable? My Copperhead looks fine even after 5 years of (ab)use.
Funny how a company makes such durable products, yet people still buy new ones every couple years.

These are the two best mice besides the IME 3.0 and IME 1.1 which I have not reviewed for this site. The Avago 9500 base laser mice are the ones that perform the best at the moment.
Mionix Naos 5000 SteelSeries Xai

I also consider the DeathAdder brilliant despite the higher than average lift-off distance. The best mice of all times for me are the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 and 1.1. At a 1000 Hz polling rate these are perfect for a low sensitivity gamer like me. However for the regular game (which uses a medium sensitivity) the 400 DPI sensor might be a bottle neck.

Cheers,
Fred
