Func's leave from the gaming scene is over, and they are back with a revamped 1030 mat and a brand new mouse dubbed the MS-3. Based on Func's previous outings, the bar is set high for their products. We take both mat and mouse for a spin to see if they can live up to the Func name.

I liked my Func F30; a thin pad with a very nice feel. Downside was that the adhesive holding the rubber bottom and plastic top wasn't as strong as it could be and the two starting slowly sliding apart. To be fair, this was after a year of heavy use.

The 1030XL may or may not have this problem and if it does, it may be mitigated because of the base it sits in.
