MAX supported CPU for Asus Tuf Gaming Pro with Wifi? Somebody said 4950 --- something or other..... ????

2nd question: What air cooler would you go with to cool this monster at full load if it was running 24/7 under max load.......... (I do not want to go water route - been there, done that - no)

3rd question. (Fine, 3 questions) - Will the SAME air cooler also cool my 3700x that I have currently? I assume it would be want to be positive. Thanks all.

Asus - Tuf Gaming Pro with Wifi = X570 chipset and I currently have a "placeholder" 3700X in it.

There is a Tuf Gaming Pro with Wifi for a crapload of chipsets, that's why he asked.

If it is the X570 one you have, then the max CPU it supports right now is the 3950X

Any decent tower style air cooler will cool a 3950X even at full load, assuming you don't overclock(which, it's Ryzen, so you won't be overclocking). And of course it will cool a 3700X. But a lot of that will depend on the airflow in the case and if you can get that hot air out fast enough.

X570 motherboards should support the 4000 series CPUs
If your going for a high end CPU, I recommend the Scythe Fuma 2 or Noctua NH-D15
Also it will definitely work on your 3700x

Depends on the cooler, if it's a decent tower cooler, I'm pretty sure it will be enough when upgrading.
